We saw a lot of this, when we were there in May. My daughter bought a dress from Secret Honey. Like the one you are wearing in the short. We thought it was very cute. We've since bought more.
@@WhyShouldnt_I my daughter has 2. We even bought a Shirley Temple dress for my 5 year old. Nothing needs corrected. We paid 12,000 yen for the dress like the presenter. And 15,000 for a blue and white long sleeve.
The variety of styles is fun and creative, I think. Some are quite charming, like mori girl. Others are exuberant and innocent, like decora. Lots more than lolita.
American here, I just would like to add a great place to find clothes and fashion is Harajuku, it's the birth place of Bape and many other street brands that pretty much defined the style as well as plenty of luxury fashion stores as well. Even as a non-native I know that harajuku has the best shopping district for clothes, I would put Shibuya second. God would love to visit here one day but definitely couldn't live here. About a week for me. Wanted to go this month or next i have the money but no one wanted to leave country and I didn't wanna go so we're going to Chicago to visit the gold coast and shop and see the landmarks and museums instead, taking the train there, super excited. Maybe one day someone will want to go with me and I'll finally get to visit Tokyo and the Japanese countryside! Im a bit worried though I am VERY tatted and I have a small black heart tattoed on my cheekbone as well, i have a feeling im gonna have to buy makeup/tattoo concealer and wear long sleeves to be able to enter establishments /:
I love Bape, but the prices are wild ! Edit to add ; yes! Definitely want to have concealer because tattoos are viewed as “gang related “ due to cultural stigma around Yakuza :(

You can wear it in the Fashion District near Harajuku. But, 9 times out of 10, if you are not a size 0-2, I would not buy any clothing there.
