People have to realize that the era of one nationality has ended. We have more people living outside of their birth country than ever before, more international couples. National identity isn't fixed, it's fluid. Someone can feel both Polish and German at the same time. There's no need to force them pick only one. It's something personal and varies from case to case.

Please do some research. She was asked by Poland to play for it but she didnt decide immediately and finally decided to play for Germany because she feels German. Heres a statement from HER: "I am German. I play for Germany, I grew up in Germany, and my heart beats for Germany."

I know English and German in some communicative level, but to learn Polish is more difficult than learn En. and Ger. both on same time. In Polish language u can better explain some difficult things and is more able to make some word games, but German and especially English is way better to use even if you know just few simple words.
