Hi Elegants! Let us know which one is your favorite piece of the video. Just leave a time mark on your comment so we can see! Ours is 1:00 and 4:00. There are a lot of beautiful pieces so it’s hard to decide.
I think that the extraordinary craftsmanship behind Rocco is what mesmerizeses so many people. The fact that these beautiful pieces of furniture & art were crafted by human hands is almost unbelievable. The precision, detail, & pure skill required to create such beautiful works of art is just about unfathomable to the average person. Truly extraordinary✨️
I always wonder what was the name of that style of decor other than baroque. Beauty and the beast decor has been my inspiration for decorating my house. I shop antiques and rehab them. Thanks for sharing this with us
This is a beautiful video and I learned a lot! Thank you! Would you ever consider doing one on vintage cosmetics cases, like compacts, lipstick cases, etc? I think that would be a great topic for you!
A best example of the Rococo style is the Dolmabahçe Palace at Istanbul, Turkey. Its a beautiful combination of neo-baroque and Rococo interior. And the palace was once the homes of the ottoman sultans.
Love this video! I love learning about different design styles besides the traditional & common ones used today. There are so many styles throughout history to learn from & implement, even if only certain touches are used like a focal point or accents. This is true in fashion as well. 1 of my favorites is the art nouveau period. Well done!❤
I often felt like I was born in earlier times because I have the taste of 1500 not into the newest styles. Thank you Lulu I learned so much from you. Many blessings and I look forward in seeing what you post next.
Hard to say what my favorite is. Your videos gave me inspiration to do my bedroom and bathroom like yours. Thank you for sharing. Many blessings and take care.
As a little girl, I knew someone that had inherited 2 Rococo Gold trimmed intricately carved mirrors with gold Roses. I loved to visit them, they Truly reminded me of Magic Mirrors in my favorite stories. 💛💛✨✨💐💐✨✨💛💛
Thank you for this. I live life with an open mind, with an unwavering sense of optimism and adventure. I'm always on the hunt - for what? Idk. OH lLOOK! Its something SHINY. Let's go check it out 😆 I can't help it. I'm a Sagittarius rising and Saggie Sun. Ahh, yes - the archer. Sometimes my BFF and I just about fall on the floor laughing at each other when we talk about ourselves. And we're in our late 40's. Who cares? And who's REALLY counting?! All of that said, my beautiful friend, I am personally not a fan the Rococo era. However, I have a strong affinity to the Baroque style. I find a lot of romanticism in the Baroque time period. But of course, too much of a good thing can be bad. And so, I feel no shame in combining baroque elements with my desire for clean, SYMMETRICAL 😁 and modern design in my world. I think you did a phenomenal job presenting this information with beautiful depictions. I sincerely appreciate the content on ur channel. THANK YOU! 💞
Hello Lulu 🌷 Happy Spring.... Thank you for sharing all things beauty within home decor.. Using an illumined imagination can achieve that "BEAUTY FOR A LIFE TIME". @3:56 Phenomenally beautiful I'd turn that into a "VANITY TABLE" Enjoy your Sunday 🌷
So what I want to take away from this: just like furniture, asymmetrical faces and bodies aren’t more unsightly than perfect symmetry 😌 we are simply “French Rococo” 😉 How fancy and refined! 🏰 ✨🥂 Long live unpredictable beauty ❤️
I have a challenge for u… I’m a custodian at a high school! How do I look elegant and put together doing that? We can wear what we want. Please help!!!
Hi Brandi! I suggest monochromatic looks. Meaning that you should try to dress head to toe with the same color. If you dress black go all black, is you dress gray go all gray. I also suggest staying in more neutral colors like, black, beige, gray, browns. But if you want to introduce more colors then pick a color that you like but stay on the muted tones of that color. For example, if you like pink instead of dressing hot pink, pick instead a soft mauve pink that looks more subtle. If you like green, instead of picking a very vibrant one, select one that is more muted like army green. Finally, there are two ways you can go at it: the modern way, which would be monochromatic looks that are composed of more sport wear pieces. A good set of monochromatic sport wear specially when everything is in the same color even the socks to the shoes really looks elevated but casual. Now, if you want to go a more traditional route, I would still dress monochromatic but I would focus on having a signature style. So let’s say you pick a button up shirt with semi causal dress pants. A good signature detail you can add to your everyday wear is tying a chic silk scarf on your neck like the French do. If you add a fun detail like this and wear it every single day, you will soon be recognized by this detail. People will then see that you don’t just dress up with no rhyme or reason but that you have a thought process behind your decisions and that instantly elevates your style. If you decide to go the traditional route, my suggestion is: don’t be afraid to look like a teacher. Button up shirts, semi dress pants, throw on a cardigan when cold and then add that little signature silk scarf and you will look very put together. At the end of the day you are part of the school staff so dressing accordingly and looking academic or office ready as long it doesn’t interfere with you everyday work is absolutely fine. I hope this helps! May God bless you!
Did she say Rococo is Baroque on Meth?? What an outstanding insult. Referencing the set of a cartoon like Beauty and the Beast is ridiculous. It was a cartoon!!

I can't pick a certain item but was overwhelmed in the best way by each scene, item and I never knew what rococo was! It's just breathtaking!!!

This was an excellent video essay on the topic and as someone who loves rococo it really did the topic justice.
