  • Is Juan Soto about to leave the Yankees after this season? Fresh off hitting his 40th home run of the year and reaching a career milestone, Soto dropped a huge hint about his upcoming free agency plans. Could his incredible season in New York be his last with the Yankees? Stick around as we break down the latest from Soto, his massive milestones, and what his future might hold as free agency looms.
The New York Yankees are on the verge of clinching a postseason spot, but there’s more than just playoff excitement swirling around the team. Star slugger Juan Soto just hit a major career milestone, becoming one of the few players to hit 40 home runs in a season and reaching 200 career dingers. However, it’s not just Soto’s power numbers making headlines-it’s his recent comments that have fans wondering if this could be his final season in pinstripes.
After hitting a home run in the Yankees’ 11-2 win over the Seattle Mariners, Soto dropped a subtle but significant hint about his plans for the upcoming offseason. Speaking to reporters, Soto said, “(Hitting a home run in every park), that’s a great feeling for me. I think there are so many different ballparks, so many different dimensions. I just want to get all of them checked off. What a best way to go into free agency with all 30 ballparks checked in my list.”

"It has Yankee fans wondering if he'll test the market"
WTF are you talking about, it's already common knowledge that he's gonna test free agency. One they didn't get anything done during the season & two, his agent is Scott Boras who is notorious for getting the 💰 for his players.
I doubt the Dodgers will sign another $500 mil player after Ohtani. There's only a few teams that can shell out that kind of money,... Mets, Yankees, Giants. Ironically, his old team, the Nationals with new ownership & looking to make a splash may be a sleeper choice.
But essentially it'll be a bidding war between Yankees & Mets, although if Steve Cohen wants him that bad, he could outbid even the Yankees considering he's worth 4x more than the 2nd most richest owner in baseball.
