So he admits after all these years, he's not an Anarchist and votes Labour, and he sings "Let us see what a con he is". 🤔

Yes, what a load of rubbish. “I vote labour to keep the tories out.” This band and several others had a tremendous impact on me as a youth and to hear him basically renege on everything he apparently never stood for stinks. It was just a pose, no real intention to make any real difference, just a way to justify shit music and fashion.
Problem is the world is on the edge of absolute catastrophe and we need to get our act together and stop this insanity from taking us down with it, not trying to make a few quid regurgitating what you never believed in the first place. Fucking rubbish. Personally I lost interest after the miners strike, I was starting to see that we were being led down the garden path by these outfits, but I thought they were at least sincere in their ideas, even if I was leaving them behind. Today I think of myself as a Marxist. It is all about class, the exploitation of one by the other, a system that either we put down or it takes us with it.

@@stevepace-first8617 Yeh, and he's up on stage doing those crass songs, and he's admitted he doesn't even believe in them. By the way, Penny Rimbaud owns the dial house now, he doesn't rent it, and it's worth upwards of about £1.5 million. Not bad going for an anarcho punk band. It's all a pose like you said. Remember when Ignorant said the Shepherds Bush Empire gig would be last ever time he would perform crass songs? Then he realised it's a good earner.
