I fully understand why you drove away and I also understand that this behavior is (sadly) kind of normal around fellow content creators, and of course many of those people are good friends of yours, but the first thing should have been “Are u guys okay?”.
Besides all that: Classic Sheepman luck. Of course the tire exploded at above 250 km/h, why not at much lower speeds, or in a drift. But the car is back at Sean’s place and he will take care of it 👍

What's sad is that they don't even check their tires after drifting around. Common sense thing to do is check your tires they would've seen they were on cords before going that fast.

After hearing that the car sat for a year and a half, you drove it across the country and drifted the hell out of it...what a beast of a car!! You cant sell it unless that dent in the underbody is too hard to repair. The other stuff is just cosmetic. Mechanically, it's a champ!

All things considered I’m shocked how well the e39 did cross country lol. Put some better tires, wheels and lift the car up a bit and it’ll be a perfect car for the channel long term. Definitely a keeper in my opinion.

Man, I remember when I had my first tire explosion, I was a driver that night and had the cruise control at 110kmh in the highway, then just BOOM. Shit that was scary, since it also was on a like 70 meter tall bridge as well. But we survived without spinning out or anything, and my friends were able to remain calm.
Glad you’re okay, tire explosions are no joke, even at 100+kmh, can’t even imagine going 250 and that happens!

Cause an exploding tire at 250 km/h or above can go really fast really sideways and that would have been horrible to say the least. 😲
So again, thx to Otto being an experienced driver and to whoever had an eye on Otto and Gabriel for not letting the car spinning at 250 km/h or faster. 😳
Because: A car or parts of a car can be easily replaced, but damage to an human body is no joke and being in one horrific car accident myself I sadly know what I’m talking about. 😟

Damn the explosion was huge, same thing happened for me and my gf on motorway, luckily we only drove 160 so nothing actually damaged. Good you kept the control of the car

If that’s the case, then why bother? Fix it sell it move onto something else that makes you happy man. Great series this was, can’t wait to see what you do next.

I would've never thought this car was just chilling for 1.5 year straight before this roadtrip. I can't wait for Sunday's video but to be fair, I don't think it's a car to sell. I think this is the 2nd best fitment for your brand, after the E90. Beats the F80 and the E46 if you ask me. Whether you keep it in the States or bring it over to Austria, it's going to be a good choice to keep it imo. Just needs a bit of special treatment and perhaps a set of white wheels, like the G80.
