Dungeons & Dragons is an honourable mention as it's the only cartoon in this list not to be based on a video game, although D&D computer games were released soon after the animated series ended.
I used to watch Earthworm Jim on VHS. I was a 2000s kid, so I didn't know much about the video game then. Also, it doesn't surprise me that the creators behind the show are the same as Dave the Barbarian.
Wow - another well-researched article with which to end the year. Thank you so much for all the articles with which you have kept us entertained (and edutained) throughout the past year. Have a well-deserved break to charge your research-batteries. Please don't forget us next year and bring us another supply of videos. Stay safe during the holiday period.
I think Saturday Supercade could possibly be its own episode! I would love to hear the background story, it couldn't have been easy to get competing companies (Sega, Nintendo ect.) to be on the same show.
Not gonna lie, I kinda wish this video was about how 90's cartoons used to portray videogames in their stories instead of just cartoons based on game franchises...
You also forgot to mention that some of the Sonic villains, including Scratch & Grounder, later appeared in the SEGA game "Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine", a version of Puyo Puyo. And I think this was either during or after the first Sonic Cartoon.

I would have thought Contra would have been adapted into a cartoon on the back of Rambo's animation.
Yes! The Adventures of Mad Dog and Scorpion 😎
There seems to be a problem with the subtitles where it just shows all of it at once in the beginning. Otherwise, great video!
Thanks for letting me know, I'll see what I can do to fix the subtitles. But glad you enjoyed the video!
