    What a great video! It's very clear and your on-camera persona is very fun!

    I hope you're getting a lot of good use of your workbench - it looks sturdy and certainly big enough for all manner of projects. Between loads of laundry, that is. 😊 Nice video - thank you for sharing.

    That is the sturdiest laundry table I have ever seen.

    Fun to watch along with RK’s own. It helped me with my own. Thanks for making it (and keep on folding).

    Just finished making a tool tote. I used an identical dull as crap spade bit in my drill for handle holes. Bit was rusty too 👍

    Using the worlds dullest bit rather than a hand auger; LMAO

    Notjing like an unsharpened spade bit for accuracy. Good video sir. Just started construction on mine

      I got mine at a thrift shop, but I’m sure they are available at most big box stores.

    That Dewalt radial arm saw set up is cool. Could you tell me what model it is?

    • @TheThriftyWoodworker
      @TheThriftyWoodworker  2 года назад +1

      It is a MBF 232. Any radial arm saw will do. You can find them at many garage sales for around $50. They can be dangerous if you are not careful like any saw. I use mine for only crosscuts, and half lap joints.

    Don't apologize for using power tools. I'm of the camp that believes getting shit done is the most important thing, way more important than some goofy purist nonsense about handtools only.

      While I don't think anyone needs to apologize for using power tools, I also don't think of using hand tools only as any kind of purist nonsense. I use almost entirely hand tools. Could I batch things out faster with a tablesaw? Undoubtedly. But I'm not running a cabinet shop or selling birdhouses, I'm crafting pieces and furniture for my own family and friends. I already work a job and a half, there is no need to stress about "getting shit done" in my downtime where there is no monetary pressure.
