The Runner-up that season was Adam Lambert; very talented & lead singer for Queen. The Winner that season was Kris Allen, & I don't know really what he's done or is doing. Danny Gokey was by far the best singer on Season 8 of "American Idol". He was meant not to win, because God had other plans for his talent.

Good job Danny. This is the song I heard in 7th grade that turned me on to Mariah Carey and singing. True story. At age 13 I was belting out her songs while hanging out on my trampoline in Kansas. Way out in the country where your nearest neighbor is quarter mile away. I would sing for hours after school. Go inside and eat and go back out for a few hours. I loved that trampoline. It made it easy to dream while out there singing. I sometimes feel like my spiritual gift may have been/is to be a worship leader person. Singing makes me happy. The last 7 month's have been very dark for me. Lots of family members died. My husband came home from army deployment and then left 3 months later for another . I am sick. Just turned 39 been fighting chronic pain for 11 years and my best friend. My mom. Got dementia and is in a nursing home. The woman I love most in the world is no longer there. Instead I have a lady full of anger, sadness and confusion that hates me most of the time and doesn't know why she cant go home. I miss my mom so much. I would give anything to have her mind come back. Even for a little bit. God it hurts so bad. So I realized that I havent really sang much. My spirit is down. So today instead of being busy with stuff. I rested in my room and played worship songs and cried out to Jesus. I tried to sing some but you know how people get when they got the emotions coming out during the song. There were breaks. I didnt care. It wasnt a performance for people to judge. It was just me expressing my love 2 the Father.
I heard your story 4 the first time today. I saw your winter Jam performance in KC. I know some of your songs. You are really great. You have come a long way since this. I admire you. And thank you. Thank you for the hope to keep on trusting that thimgs will be ok. Thank you for the lyrics. To all the religious naysayers
Some people in humility wish to not publicize their talents and abilities to avoid Pride, arrogance, selfishness Etc.
Others in humility, see that their circumstances in life can Inspire somebody else. It may or may not immediately lead to the sharing of the Gospel, but it will certainly Inspire them and may eventually lead to the sharing of the Gospel.
As Romans 14 says, each person has made their own decision, and it is unto the Lord.
Instead of shaming this broken Man 4 Sharing Hope with other broken people, check your motives and make sure you are doing the things you are doing unto the Lord.
