The most helpful part was the one you didn't talk about at 2:04 , i see you can set the zones for the parts. That can allow you to split the keyboard into 3,4, or 16 different voices if you want using RngUp and RngLow. YOU'RE WELCOME!
Also you can save a specific tempo for the performance by having the Tempo lock off, then dial in the tempo that you want for the performance and save it.
That was very mildly put. The Roland Juno DS Guide is Crap!!!! 90% of it is in languages I don't understand. At first I thought..." brilliant...a nice big comprehensive manual" but was underwhelmed on opening it. Nothing at all about Layering and many other things. Roland wins all the time. They have got my money!!!! For someone starting off with synths they would be clueless. Roland...every few pages on that excuse for a manual were badly formulated, sparse and had no logical order. It is written as though some one had a few ideas and as an afterthought jotted then down after a few whiskies and left us all in the deep. Not bloody good enough Roland. Users want BUTTONS AND KNOBS NOT MENUS!!!!! NOW PRODUCE THE GOODS FOR OUR SAKES NOT YOURS
Hello is it possible to assign a drum track to one of the 16 parts? Or is Rhythm Pattern available when you play a performance? I mean defining a 16 layers in a performance and then play that while having a Rhythm Pattern in background out of the Performance. I know that DUAL and SPLIT mode allow the Rhythm Pattern to play along. Don't know about Performance Mode. Thanks
What if I want to use the Roland Juno as a MIDI controller and set up a SPLIT and have keys below Middle C to be channel 1 and key above Middle C to be channel 2 - how would you do that? The sounds will be triggered externally - Not using the Juno sounds internally
Hi Ed, I noticed that when u press the cursor down to #2 @ 2:11 the pads switch to #2? Is the juno ds capable into keyboard pad mode parts like FA Instead of pressing the cursors to navigate into different parts we can use pads to jump into different parts easily?
Can you assign a different sound to each MIDI Channel and select the sounds within a performance from an external MIDI keyboard that has channel change buttons buttons? How do you do so? I've seen you can fo it in the FA-06 With a Studio Set, but how do you do that in the JUNO-DS? Is it possible?
Sir i just want to ask if you already played or seen the 76keys juno ds? I just want to know regarding with the size of the keys, if it is the same with 61keys or the 88 keys? Thank you sir🙏
4:00 love that it sounds like a Tyler, The Creator song with those instruments. I'm really tempted on buying this and learning piano. I just don't know where to start on learning piano. If anyone knows any sites or youtube channels that are informative on learning piano from scratch pls let me know
hi, can anyone help me. i want to create sound below, can anyone recommend patch name/number any similar for layers, please ruclips.net/video/yaf9HNixrms/видео.html also, my piano sounds are all stuffy with my speaker, but kurzweil k2500 sounds crystal clear so it's not the matter of speaker. anyone can advise me how to fix the quality of piano sound
That KBD switch is a problem if you want to use external controller or switch controllers, why a need for that when roland already has Local Control Switch on the system menu? Layering is as simple as setting the rx channel to the same value and the parts should all make sounds, sorry really confused old rolands doesnt have that KBD switch thus making it easy to connect to other synths
Kaleby Henrique I ended up buying one and it has some great sounds and features but it's a nightmare to use! The manual is hopeless, the layout is terrible and I still hate the look of it. I'll probably keep it for the synth sounds and get something else that's more intuitive to use for piano and organ sounds.

It's a good thing one can do this with such simplicity and speed on the fly during a live performance. ;P

Hi, do we have a specific pedal on and off options in a performance settings for individual patches? Just curiosity! Thanks!
I wish you could use the faders on the left to layer in real time. Seems like to much hassle using the dial knob and scrolling. 😅
com 30 segundos de vídeo vc respondeu todas as minhas duvidas muito obrigado brother
Thank you for making these videos . The user guide just isnt hands on enough for me to learn what I would like to learn.
That was very mildly put.

How do we save this to use later?
David Palmasano was about to ask the same question. Did you already find out how?
Shown about 5 1/2 minutes into next video (... layers and splits 02)
Hello can you teach me how to set up for the long reverb?Thankyou...

Greeting to Sir Ed, Is there a way to adjust the reverb, high, mid and low each patch in performance mode aside from using the knobs?
Hi.. I tried to disable the pedal from sustaining the left when on split bass but I failed. Could you please help?
But does the DS already come with multiple pre-set patch layers you can choose from, or just the dual (2) layer mode?
Is there a cheaper keyboard that can layer 3 sounds at most if possible?
could you assign the volume of each patch to the sliders?
is somebody from roland gonna answer him
I need this information
This is really important can someone tell plz?
Seems fixed at 1and 2 on the right two sliders
Cool.. So I can use them in performance mode too? Cuz I've told they work only with the dual function

can you layer multiple sounds on Roland Juno di?
Roland please answer the questions in this comment section I'm very curious about all of them.
How can I have a MIDI pedal board and make each pedal trigger one "Part" (Split) from a Performance?
Why the fx gone when in perform mode ??
So can I do this and also create a split for the bass on the left?
Very helpful - thank you a lot :)))

can you favourite a Split? i just got this and i can't figure it out
yeah ... you just push write and select bank, and a name.

Help! Does anybody know if I can then save this, reset to it, and use the Mute button and the Part buttons to mute and unmute each part? Thank you!!!!
How can I stop my bass from sustaining when I press the sustain pedal?
Korg combi mode, ive seen that on my jurrasic x5dr, very useful for live, thats what im talking about roland
Part II was already too loud. If you keep piling on sounds it will turn into an organ. Can the secondary sounds by cross velocity sensitive?

Does the DS send arp midi?
Thank You ‼️🎵‼️
how does splitting the 16 parts between multiple midi channels affect the sound quality of each patch?
corgang it doesn't.
Is it possible to assign the sounds to the faders? This is really important
Mardoche Julien nope.
How can i autoplay a pad
cool....thank you

46 comments, not a single reply from product support xD nice support fellas!
Pitch can be lowered to 432Hz easily? Any patch?
Jordan Elcheson yes, a single button press :)
Heppy new year 2018

This Roland synth just doesn’t sound like the JUPITER 50 or the 80
Jay Dee what do you mean? Do you mean only the synth sounds or it has worse sound overall?
Because it’s a JUNO.
That screen looks like my 1980s digital watch...time for an update!
I like that. It's so cool and vintage!
