It doesn't take a psychic to realise that when someone called Wesley wants to talk about the Mark of the Beast, you're not going to have a worthwhile conversation.
A little footnote to a comment by Sea Bass. Spontaneous human combustion is explained. There has been several investigations, most notably Nickel and Fischer in the mid 80's, who looked at cases going back from 20th century back to the 18th. They concluded that they can be explaained by external fire sources, e.g. lamps, fireplaces, candles and so on, whic is 'ommited' from most reporting. They also have some kind of combustion fuel source. They found a high corrolation between intoxication (alcohol burns!) and full combustion. When there is a partial combustion, the fuel was usually somthing like clothing or a blanket. They also explain why the body burns, but very little around it (not going to go into it, it can be a little gruesome). Main thing is also that each case is different, there is not a single 'thing' that creates SHC, it all depends on each circumstance, but when you examine each of them induvidually they can all be explained. SHC is not a mystery.

People believe something when they have a good reason that convinces them it's true. I WANT to believe that I will die and my soul will go to a perfect place where I can exist in bliss and love and joy forever, and share that with all the people I love in this world and that afterlife. No matter how badly I want to believe that, I can't. I don't believe that is true because I have no reason to believe it. Hold a gun to my head and order me to believe that or die, and I'll tell you I believe it to save my life but that still won't actually make me believe it. It's just a pipe dream, a flight of fancy, a wish. Some people have high standards for what they find convincing. Me, I need real evidence. The more extraordinary the claim, the more extraordinary the evidence must be. Other people read a thing in a book or watch a youtube video and that's good enough for them - they are an instant believer. For that person, they do have a good reason. Or at least good enough for them. But even for a person like that, they are not believing because they want to, but because they have a reason good enough for them.

I've heard it before in other shows too. is it a staffer or somebody having a good time with an open mic? Can we swap out that distraction for, say, maybe a couple having sex on an open mic? I mean, still distracting but far more entertaining...
