It’s the formula. Similac tends to clump more than other brands as a pose to Enfamil. Just give the bottle a shake and your good to go. We’ve had ours for about a year and that's what we’ve discovered. Great product.
I love this one for my bedrooms upstairs. Every formula blends differently, and I went through a few different formulas before keeping the one that works for my baby and I did not have any issues with the formula blending with the water well. There were no clumps for me at all, but I still always give it a little shake. I also never knew this was portable because I plug mine in…so hmmm might check that out in the am.

Unsure when I bought this, I just "didn't know" But while making my first bottle I was like "whoa" Now that I'm finished I'm more like "LET'S GOOOOO"
