Truth is, we want what everyone else wants, football that is entertaining and provides some level of success. Why is there this constant assertion that exciting football equals instant relegation and we should be grateful for staying up regardless of how boring and dull it is to watch!!
It's the English way. Know your place and stay in your lane. It's not as if these managers who play negative football don't get hammered. The aim of football is to score goals and try to win. And if you play open football and concede a lot of goals or keep it tight and don't score many it ends up being the same difference. And you might not lose as many but you won't win as many. Bielsa was a genius when he was going toe to toe with Man City and Liverpool and finished in the top half. When they hammered him and he was in a relegation battle then he became a hopeless loser who had to be sacked to keep Leeds up. Burnley were below them in the table and Leeds had done the double over them but sacking Dyche was crazy because he was certain to keep them up. It's nonsense.
It's not just West Ham. I hear constant references to different clubs' styles of play, without anyone ever defining what it is or just making it up. It also probably doesn't help Potter in Simon's eyes that he was Brighton manager and did a good job there.
He took over the 3rd best team in England and turned them into a midtable basket case in 6 months
Potter and Lopetegui are exactly the same. Both want to play a decent brand of football but is rubbish in both boxes
@@maxsch8454 You know absolutely nothing about football and you're bragging about it, wow!
Yes, the same Simon Jordon who dismissed Nuno et al. Somehow this git makes a career out of bitterness and being wrong.
So then Moyes was flaky and weak at Man United, and didn't have the chops for it, but I did not hear those criticisms thrown by Mr Jordan when Moyes was in charge at WH ..
Moyes has gone Simon, dry your eyes ffs.
Is there anything more cringe than the West Ham way dear me 😂
Always snide comments regarding ‘the West Ham way’. All it means to trying to play attractive entertaining football and the players trying their best & giving their all.
Do they ever make positive comments about anybody or anything on TS? The show constantly just focuses on what they believe to be negatives without making any alternative suggestions. Every headline clickbait yet they poke digs at Sky every so often for the same thing. Proper vulture mentality of always trying to find a new carcass to feed on
Why are these West Ham fans starting with to be very honest with you !
You are being honest or not. You don't decide
What on earth is Simon wearing?! 😂
Jim's g string
I give it a matter of month's till West Ham fans rightly get fed up with him and his overly complicated approach to team selection and tactics
Look at ownership too
