Just a quick thanks for your recommendation on the sim-lab XP-1 pedals, had them a couple of weeks now and couldn't be happier. Keep the vids coming, my absolute favourite on RUclips 👍👍👍
@@p.a.16motorsport27 I thought i would put the firmer rubber in but its just fantastic as it came, almost don't want to mess with it. Just set my deadzones and that was it. I was struggling on my trail braking on the Fanatec pedals, come to these and I'm doing it without even thinking. So happy I went for these, big thanks to Dave again👍👍👍👍
Hello Dave hope you and Julie had a good stay. I wanted to contact you on your league, (Coach Dave) but I could not find it under the League menu. I would really like to see if I could keep-up with your group.
I don't see mentioned here that the Fanatec pedals have a vibration motor (haptic) on both the throttle and the brake. I find they both are much too weak to be of any help, but maybe if you drive in socks and have good nerves in your feet. Dave, have you every tried those motors on Fanatec pedals?
Does anyone have these who can comment on the squeaking? He mentioned it in this video, and 1 person brought it up on Reddit. They said it's a known issue with the pedals and the only solution is to get used to it. This was posted 5 months ago. I can't find any videos showing this, so I'm wondering how loud it is, and if anyone has figured out a fix for it. The Redditer said they squeak "like hell" which makes me think it's gonna be very noticable. I really like these pedals, but don't dig the idea of dropping $1000 on pedals that will constantly squeak. Especially if there's not a way to fix it. Now if the squeaking isn't loud enough to hear over normal racing I'd still keep these on my list.
@@davecamytare you still using the slip angle four corner bass shakers on your rig? If so what’s like with also having haptic on the brake pedals. Thanks mate
Two things. I agree on the Fanatec clutch. I usually just set it to engage/disengage really high using the software settings. I came from using the Asetek La Prima pedals and the Clubsport V3's in my opinion are great. If you are a shoe wearing racer the motors are deffinetly deadend by the rubber souls but im a sock guy and they have helped a lot with ABS and TC@@rogergy1
first?! :D havent seen the full review yet. skipped first to the "verdict". i want to buy new pedals and looking at sim-lab xp1, p1 mistral and VRS. which one would you prefer? would i need the base plate if i have a simlab p1x rig with a heel rest?
Those would take my whole budget for a rig but boy are those nice. I am just looking for something that is better than a run of the mill cheap LC. I hated my CSL Elite pedals. Great video Dave.

Same here! Love them!
Bro i order XP1 too, are you using particular pedals settings or default is good?

I love these pedals lol these and then the sim labs xp1 are some of my favorites right now for the prices.
Finally a review of these after I tested them in October at the sim racing expo
Damn you Dave. Ordering these now….my FANATEC club sports have 10,000 plus laps and they will now start my “visitor rig” build. Awesome overview
Thnx for the video, what isyour opinion between p1000 with hapics (hydraulics) and the P1 mistrals?>

How are they compared to the simlab xp1 pedals? Obviously they haven’t got any rumble motors on (well, not when sold 😊)
how lout haptics are? at lowest intensivity but still providing good feel?
Does the Starship Enterprise have pedals? If so these would be perfect…👍
ohhh thanks you !!! i know i'm the best designer in Europe

As we get older we lose feeling in i our feet
Yup, that is correct. I speak from experience.
You been testing Le Mans Ultimate Dave !!!
Got your name in the latest trailer 👀
Nope, not me 😁

I think I missed it but do you HAVE to use their heel plate or can you mount each pedal separately on profile?
I don't see why you couldn't mount directly to some profile using t nuts on the underside 👍

@@davecamytI didn’t know if they were one piece with the baseplate that you showed in the video (hard mounted)
I don't use my fanatec clutch - never used it. Seems pointless without feeling a biting point. Am I missing out?

That one is Copper 😁
Pedal plates are a little boy racer for me.
