The Grid AKL | Aucklands Technology Innovation Hub & Coworking Space

The Grid AKL is part of the Wynyard Quarter Innovation Precinct which is Auckland Cities new home for ICT, Digital Media and Innovation. Specifically the Grid AKL is a coworking space designed for companies in startup mode, who are growing fast and going global. These companies have between 4 - 10 members.
The team from the BizDojo have been commissioned with designing and operating this space, they are known for building great spaces, entrepreneurial communities and bringing like minded intelligent and forwarding thinking individuals together.
90 Seconds jumped at the opportunity to be apart of this huge development for NZ, and we intend of telling the story of kiwis going global right from the beginning.
The innovation precinct will be a purpose-built ICT and digital media hub that brings together innovative entrepreneurs and multi-national companies, as well as research and development-intensive organisations. It will provide the focus, resources, connections and opportunities to launch high-tech business for success on the global stage.
Located in Wynyard Quarter on Auckland's waterfront, 48,000m2 of space is being developed to attract new and emerging ICT and digital media businesses, alongside more established companies - building on the success already achieved by smart New Zealand high-tech companies.
The precinct will provide budding entrepreneurs with the ideal fertile environment in which to start up, with stylish workspaces and close proximity to business, financial and legal advice. It will be a place where like-minded and complementary high-tech companies collaborate to create new and exciting opportunities.
The precinct will be made possible through the investment of Auckland Council's economic growth and waterfront development agencies - Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED) and Waterfront Auckland - the support of central government and the participation of leading New Zealand companies.
