Imagine if every time people searched they only got the info back they asked for and no more. These conversational models will make people incredibly dull because they won’t actually read, discover new truths, and synthesize information. Instead, they will ask about B, receive answer B, and that’s the end of the road. Lmao. What a dystopia we are creating for ourselves.
Ummm.. maybe searchers who saw ads ran extra searches because the ads returned unhelpful searches. This is my personal, although not scientific, exerience.
Yes, I don't know why they didn't address that in the episode. If it wasn't even considered or taken into account in the analysis, then that's just a bad analysis.
I think it's even worse for non americans. I'll find infromation in english, then I try to find the products... and google gives me either chinese websites that more or less scam you, or they give you amazon, that costs an arm and a leg to import because there's tons of extra fees. It's really hard to find something that I can buy from stores within my own country, partly because I don't actually know what the thing would be called here (because the tutorial I found on youtube was in english) and partly because google seems to prioritize american stores when searching in english.
Same with Better Business Bureau. They extort money out of companies, or they will trash your reputation with fake complaints. Big 60 Minutes or 20/20 investigation a few years ago.

It's funny you have yelp commenting when they run a protection racket themselves.
