Awesome video! I always enjoy seeing what you plan to melt for the challenge. I have a lot of open clam shells I plan to work on as well for July. For whatever reason, my open clam shells seem to really bother me now - which is something new for me. Before, I would just put them back in my bin and move on. Now I line them all up on a shelf so that I see them every day. If something doesn't fit a prompt, I pick something to warm in my bathroom, just to make sure I'm working on the open clams every day. Between those open clams and the bricks, this wax adventure just might do me in! Both are driving me crazy!! 🤣
Tough choice, but voting to use UP! For U 😁 Thanks for the wax adventures thru your bars 🤓. Crazy how the ones we know, we can smell as you mention them, I guess that the lure, scents are such a vital part of joy, they connect us to memories in a single sniff. 😌
You had the camera on bayberry and current and you were like “do I have anymore B scents, no I don’t” I thought you were joking because the camera was pointing on it 😂😂😂 I think you will get through a lot of empties this month! I usually take the first week or every month and only warm partial clamshells
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes typically yes. But usually I get two warms and usually will do them in the same month so I know I emptied the clamshell. There is only a few Scentsy heartbreaks that I don’t mind keeping partially used. I’m forcing myself to warm some white tea and cactus this month. I’m almost out of my spring summer stash so august melting basket may be fall heavy lol 😂
Just remember you can use different areas to rotate through the prompts. That’s how I’m able to do it because I don’t change all my wax out every day but typically I’m changing wax somewhere each day (if that makes sense)
Just a little fyi, the only reason a wax starts turning yellowish brown is because the fragrance oil contains vanillin, there is a vanillin reducer that keeps it from discolor for a while but it turns after a while, nothing is wrong with it, it just means it has vanilla, hope that helps ( I used to make cold process soap, it turns the soap a brown color 🤷🏻♀️ 😊)
Fantastic video!!! I was hoping you would do this again!!! I always like to use up my open clam shells first. I think it's my OCD. It bothers me to leave a couple of cubes, so I usually try and melt those before I open a new one. Lol
Oooo, I want to comment now so I don’t forget! I say Ursula, but I love that bar! This was fun to watch!! I think it’s genus to share it because it’s so helpful to those who want to participate, but don’t know where to start. I don’t know how I missed last month’s, but now I’m going back to find it!
Both actually. Like things about both. Like the oldies I guess. Suncastle good. Even husband commented. Wish more blueberry bakery, blackberry, raspberry etc 4 summer. Not crazy on jamming jubilee. Find red, white Berry pie better.
so for those of you changing scents every day...are you just tossing the used wax after one day? most of these scents last several days for me...seems wasteful?
I can’t speak for others but I will typically warm different scents in every space in my home. I don’t change wax out in each area until I can no longer smell it. So on average 2 days for many areas (sometimes 3-4 days, sometimes after a day…it just depends when it’s no longer throwing well in the space) So even though I typically leave wax going for longer than a day, I’m usually changing wax out SOMEWHERE each day and can incorporate all the prompts that way. I also melt ahead of the prompts and just make sure I complete them all in the month. Hope that makes sense!
I usually change my scents everyday, sometimes every other day. I usually become nose blind to the scents. I also keep my warmers running 24 hours a day, so I usually change them when I wake up. If I go to work, I don't change my wax. I probably change my wax 4 times a week. If I can still smell the scent, I will leave it, but I usually can't after 24 hours of running.
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes yes the last 2 weeks in August. No sign of my big move yet either. Contractor came, gave a quote, we agreed to it and never saw him again🙄

You can mix open things together too! A two-fer
I love this type of video! I’m inspired to use up my open bars in July now 😃
I vote for Up for your July 4th wax 🎈
Up seems to be getting all the votes
I vote for melting the UP bar.

I can’t imagine my life with scent / home fragrance
This was super fun! I would melt the Up wax rather than Ursula, save Ursula for later. Great picks!
I guess I’ll get to Ursula soon, since it’s a “flat bottom”
Strawberry Rose is BEAUTIFUL!!! I hope I come across it again!
I have a bit to use up. It’s very nice
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes A friend of mine sent to me because she thought I'd enjoy it. She was right! LOL It's a strong performer too.
Great video - I vote for the Up bar for the warming something with a U prompt.
Thanks Karen
UP!!! Hope they bring it back soon!!!
Thank you
I did definitely enjoy the video 😊 🤗
Glad you enjoyed Desiree

There was Bayberry & Currant, Buzz Worthy and Blue Hyacinth as I watched back during editing. Maybe more too but I stopped counting 🤦🏼♀️
These videos have become my favorite
Thank you. I’m not sure how often I’ll do them but I’ll try!
Great job using up the half bars, it’ll give you more space for the new stuff 😉
Hopefully not too much new stuff in July for me!
I love this new video format! I would choose the up bar!
Good to switch things up every once in a while
I don’t have many open or partial bars but I am planning on focusing on sweaty bars, club bars, and some LTO to revisit and decide if I still like
That’s sounds smart! Do you open and finish a clam generally? I know some people don’t like having open bars hanging around.

Thank you Patricia! I have never done the melting challenge but it looks like fun and I’m going to try it in July. For the U scent I pick Up.

Fun video and very helpful for the days that I am not sure about what to use.😊 My vote is for the UP bar, also
Some prompts I get tunnel vision for, so it’s always good to see what direction others take

Yes - thank you for reminding me!
These videos are so fun!! Gets we warming more 👍
Glad you like them!
This was a great video. Thanks for walking us through your process of picking scents.
I’m not sure how exciting it is, but I know if people are bored they like watching all kinds of videos - so I just thought let’s see how they respond
Great basket! Thanks!
Thanks for watching

These are fun videos! Thanks for sharing
Glad you like them!
Great job!!!🎉
Thanks
Fun video! I've slowed down on buying but regret it. Been trying new bars and not liking much. I did try strawberry melon and like.
Are you more of a spring summer or fall winter girl?

Pick the Up bar!
That’s the more popular so far!
