I just found out that you can tap-hold on the lens switcher (0.5, 1, 2.5) on the native camera app to open up the zoom slider! Its more convienent than pinching in/out!

On an unrelated note, wanted to ask, when shooting with an iPhone 12 Pro on Filmic Pro, would it be better to shoot log v2 on a 10-bit setting or dolby HDR setting? As Dolby HDR deactivates the cinematographer kit, hence unable to shoot log v2 with it.
Also both settings records h.265 instead of h.264, so do we have to convert it before bringing to post or is it okay? Thank you so much! :)

If you want more color grading options and need the live analytics then logv3 10bit is the better option. If you like the camera look of the iPhone then DolbyVision is great and also gives you a little bit of room to color grade as well. I prefer using Dolby Vision 10Bit as i can better see what i am shooting. LogV3 is very flat and unfortunately there is no gamma assist. I directly export it in h.264.

Nice tutorial! I actually use the DJI gimbal app to achieve the dolly zoom effect, but it’s good to know how to do that, if there’s no gimbal available. Keep going maquina 😜

Just tried this indoors with my iphone12pm. It's harder than I thought! I use CinemaP3 app and it was a bit easier with stabilisation turned off!
I need to practice this before I need it!

Dont have 60 fps on my phone.its 30 default. Is there any solution. But have slow motion shoot with 240 fps but only with 720 pixels.
You can still do the vertigo effect in normal speed. Use something on wheels to make the effect more apparent or try the second method.
You need to show the final /completed video at the end of your tutorials.

For travels it’s great to have one, as you can get a clear zoomed image without much quality loss. Check out SANDMARC in the video descriptions, they are my favorites :)
