The reason why most people including me don't like some of Troy Ave's antics is because he masks the real pain that he feels by throwing materialistic shit in your face.
The Hovain/Banga issues truly bugged him and you can tell he buried himself deep in the work/real estate that his confidence is borderline to the bravado and semi tough image. Every time he mentioned their names, he pivots and switches the subject to materialistic shit and that's the other part of why most of his core fans dipped out cuz it was too bragadoshis.
