I was in love with the original crop. The 3 roadways or openings took my eyes and mind elsewhere. I loved that. Never even noticed the man. The 3 directions had a lot of impact. 👍
What's up Evan! Since I started watching you I been going out everyday for at least an hour or more to do street photography. I'm also in the Atlanta area! Great video man!
Very nice tutorial / video. Like how you verbalized your thought process. Looking forward to sitting down later tonight and exploring your techniques on some of my library photos to see if I can improve them. Big fan of your RUclips and Instagram feeds. Really respect what you’re doing.
Really enjoying the detail you have started giving in your videos, behind the scenes videos like this give a great insight and help others. Keep up the great work
Great video Evan, thank you. When you removed the unnecessary lights on the left I had a thought: the ones on the right work really well, but one of them is out. You could use the clone tool to copy one of the lit ones from the left over to the right to enhance the leading line effect of those lights. Just a thought, love your work, thank you
loving the new feature of commenting in real time while watching the video. anywho... really great video thank you for stopping me from blindly looking for black and white filters. I have been out of touch with photo editing for a while now kind of forgot the basics of black and white. starting to remember the basic things again thank you for reminding the black and white tab in Lightroom. although I'm in mobile but I'm sure it's there in the phone as well. thanks again. you rock man!
Dope video bro. Subbed after I saw the first video where you got this shot. Only think I wish is you showed a before and after at the end of this vid but other than that dope af man
Thanks so much my dude! Got inspired by your last video and went out shooting in the rain in downtown Portland, Maine yesterday. I'll definitely be using these tips to try and get the most of these shots!
Great video. Great tutorial to get people started editing better B&W pics. I know in your last video you kept saying you didn’t like that photo but I loved it. Glad you gave it some love.
Great Video Evan. New fan, just moved from Florida. Seen your videos has made me want to explore my new City and State 🍑 and take my hobby new the next level.
Would definitely be interested in a video talking through the last "20%" of the edit, as you put it. Great video though, really pleased I checked out your channel. Been watching your stuff for the last 2 weeks or so and have been digging all the tutorials and behind the scenes video. Keep up the excellent work!
Just click the gradient button next to the circle and brush, and there will be little circle on the photo were you've applied the gradient, and you will click on it and you can re edit...if you don't see the little circle, there is option under the photo, and you will check always
all the info on the old street photo would have idicated where to dodge and where to burn. And yet Lightroom has no facility to dodge or burn....Every sees Lightroom as the saviour of the world... but for me photoshop user for 25 yrs. Now I want to more about Lightroom as I see the benefits of fast processing and level adjusting. I still think creating an extra layers and dodging and burning has more control and connects you precisely with image. Its a bit like decorating...a big brush can do everything...but to get the best you going to need a few brushes. Too many people faffing in Lightroom with adjust brushes, masking etc. the biggest bonus is virtual copies and snapshot. So long as Lightroom doesn't ever BUG out. (happened to me few years ago) and I lost 800 + edits :(

5:05 "...and I'm slooowly going to brush out in a circular motion..." Man, your flow is on 100%. Don't play Michelangelo lol.

Not a black and white photo
using white as a background kills my eyes !! very distracting !
I love black and white, thanks for helping! instagram @ExploreHoustonLife
How I am a shit photographer but I try to make up for it by being a cunning digital artist. There, a more accurate title for this video.
