I really would of never predicted you guys and Chunk! would ever work on music together, or actually how incredibly well both bands distinct vocals and writing styles blend and fit together for something new, the second verse really is something special and so full of flavour! Keep showing up when we least expect it and doing what you do! 🤘
@@AirRedbox Bilmuri, dance gavin dance, bmth, shrezzers.. it’s just not like “omg i’ve never heard that before!!!” like everyone is acting, stop being lame. it also sucked compared to how the other bands pulled it off
They also self-produced their debut album "Something For Nothing" way back in 2011, but "Gone Are The Good Days" definitely sounds a lot more nuanced, dynamic and rich in terms of composition and production quality.
Honestly, after coming out of a very depressive state, hearing this song and knowing there is new music from you guys made me extremely happy today. Thank you for all of the music you guys have created
@@wholetomy I was doing pretty bad for a while, but i just had a really good talk with a really good friend and i'm focusing on getting my life back on track. thank you internet stranger for caring

I LOVE CHUNK! NO, CAPTAIN CHUNK!, I WILL NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT WHATEVER YOU GUYS RELEASE IN THE FUTURE. JUST KEEP MAKING MUSIC, IT WILL MAKING US HAPPY FOREVER. ❤
Been listening to these guys again and am so glad I am, heard the sax on the way back from work today and couldn't help bust out laughing, so unexpected but fit so well and was awesome! Just yes haha, great music video too
Can't say how much we needed this album, Thank you guys for all the hard work and keeping the easycore genre alive with all the other bands going strong and setting the bar on how much potential it has for others to get into it!! much love i still remember seeing you guys way back in 2012 in Des Moines IA with Attack Attack!, Sleeping With Sirens, Dream On Dreamer. I was mainly there for you guys lol
Imagine hearing this live & instead of fading out at the end, the audience sings the chorus several more times...that's what we're here for, Chunk! You get a standing ovation every time you release something! 🥳🙌🏼
This song hits deep for me and after watching the music video, it further reinforced that feeling. Ive always wanted specific friends in my corner and a really solid friend group and a connection with ppl. I used to have all of that and now I have no friends and this song ensures there are better memories to come. I love Chunk so much! You guys are the kings of EasyCore and y'all always make music that makes me smile regardless of how im feeling. Thanks so much for what y'all have created. Its truly a beautiful thing and its certainly helped ❤
I'm so glad this album delivered. Still sounds like them, but the songwriting is improved and it doesn't have a dated sound at all. Still feels just as fun too but less jokey/gimmicky.
Seeing them on a side stage by the bathrooms at warped tour in 2011 was the first time I heard them. fairly small audience but they were electric. Pardon my french had just dropped and they fucking killed it. we were there to relax between bands but got up and into the crowd and have been following them ever since
All of a sudden people have completely come around on these guys, when they used to either be loved or completely hated. I’m glad they’re getting some love as I’ve always enjoyed them, I think Bert mentioning nostalgia in an interview for what went into this record is absolutely key to it’s success
I was immediately on board with this band the first time I heard this song! That sax solo comes from so far out of left field, it kind of blew my mind!
@@shadowmedia2922 it got a little heavy at 2:00. No breakdowns or anything, but heavy enough that I’d consider it easycore. Also the vocals sound like iconic easycore vocals, nasal and stacked with reverbed vocals
@@heccingcommie4942 yeah but in my opinion its not enough for me so... Also their song painkillers has not this easycore feeling anymore but i'd definitley like this new sound!
This is the best pop punk song I've heard in a really long time. The saxophone solo is amazing. My only complaint is the end. I really wish you guys went through the full chorus once at the end prior to starting the fade out.
I can’t tell you how much this song means to me. My counselor introduced me to the dangerous summer about a year ago and the fact A.J. Is featured on this song means the world to me. Plus the SAX!!! Chunk has been my favorite band for years and this release only solidifies my love for them. Thank you thank you thank you
This song would totally be a radio hit.
yes more chugs on radio friendly songs 😈
Do you think our last single could be a hit ?
Yes 🙌 so glad to be a part of this track ❤️
That was a surprise, but anyone showing love to TDS makes them cooler in my book.
The sax was beautiful!

Am 100% here for that sax
Fell off my chair when that sax started 🎷

This video makes me happy ever time I watch it, THANK YOU CNCC! LEGENDS!
The Sax scared the shit out of me on my drive this morning. Had no idea it was coming but damn it's sick.
This band means a lot to me. I’ll always have a special place for their music
The saxophone solo is one of the best things I've heard all year.
That sax though...
Would make a grown man like Kenny G. be proud of CNCC!
My 30 years old ass still loves this band. New stuff is sooo good.
lol! yess😂
Same, i really dig there new stuff, feels like they are a bit more mature now, which i can dig.
We all started at 15 with Underoath and what not lol
Dude, almost 40 and this had me tearing up. Haha the nostalgia is real, this is so fucken good.
thats so cool im 30 too
Easycore plus saxophone is the best combo :)
Just knowing you guys self produced this album is mind blowing. Absolutely amazing job, thank you so much for this.
Bert definitely put the 5 year hiatus to good use. Man this album has some of the best production I've ever heard.
They also self-produced their debut album "Something For Nothing" way back in 2011, but "Gone Are The Good Days" definitely sounds a lot more nuanced, dynamic and rich in terms of composition and production quality.
At some point in my life I never thought a sax solo could give me chills thanks Chunk!
Anybody else start smiling like an idiot when the sax came in ? What a great song and album overall 💯🔥
YES THE SAX WAS LITERALLY CHILLS DOWN MY SPINE THE FIRST TIME
@@PKNproductions exactly , a guitar solo would not have done it justice 🤣
