NO SPOILER review of "Strange Sally Diamond" by Liz Nugent. This Irish novel centers on the generational fallout of unprocessed trauma. It follows two characters, Sally Diamond and Steven Armstrong, and how their horrific childhoods haunt them as adults.
"Strange Sally Diamond" is Nugent's newest novel. It was released in summer 2023 in the U.S. and in the spring in the UK. Nugent is known for "Unraveling Oliver" and "Lying in Wait."
This video is my opinion having read "Strange Sally Diamond." It's currently my lowest-rated read of 2023.
