You have to be careful in Turkey.. Was in Istanbul during summer and some restaurant guys beat up customer after scamming him. They also got serveral restaurants and bars who overcharge customer and try to intimidate them with violence.. Police and government knows but they let them continue..
This is one of the most common scams in Turkey. My advice is before traveling to any city, do a simple "most common scams in X" and be vigilant for those. And never trust anyone including hotel staff etc.

Thanks god you were saved, be careful, generally what people do is the film the event, in case two or more they film the even from different angles and if alone then, record sound or film with secret camera if possible. So be careful and ready for these sorts of unexpected happenings or events.

These type of daylight robberies are very common in all over Turkey I seen myself so many tourists got beaten from these gangsters Infront of thousands of people in Istiqlal Street and in Antalya. They have huge support of police, it's impossible without their joint venture Taxi drivers were also trying to loot us, but we were 4 brothers having a good experience to deal with these type of situations, Alhamdulillah.
I have heard that Turkey is a very beautiful tourist place and generally in tourist places these type of incidents don't happen as it ruins the reputation of that place. Really shocking incident! Turkey has very ancient historical and natural sites that attract soot of tourists worldwide. In many touristic cities local vendors try to scam tourists but with violence is somewhat rare but it happens. It’s unfortunate that this happens in some im that region.

Even Russia and the Central Asian countries and Mongolia were good and very helpful and friendly. Probably the mix culture of various countries near Adana was the reason for this sad, violent and unexpected incident.

This type of scam is not uncommon in Istanbul where gore are seeking bars/alcohol. Now that this happend to you in Adana, I guess it has spread to other cities as well. Nothing contrasts like being invited to stay at a nice Georgian family's home withot even asking then getting robbed in Trukiye. I love visitng both Georgia and Turkiye, but economic situation and the recent earthquake in east of Adana near Gaziantep hasve caused serous deterioration in the local economies. First of all, I am very sorry that you experienced such a bad incident in my country. If you think a place like the one in the video is a place where you can eat kebab or pizza, I think you should stop traveling immediately and stay at home. No matter what the sign says, you should have left as soon as you saw that it was not a restaurant but a mediocre nightclub. Judging by the location of where you went, it looks like you weren't looking for a restaurant anyway. You could find hundreds of restaurants on crowded streets in Adana. No matter what reason you went there, no one has the right to treat you this way. It would be better if you reported it to the police immediately after this bad incident.
As I mentioned I decided to leave within first 5 minutes. I also reported the same to local police. Turkish food isn’t only kebab but much more where one needs to sit in a restaurant.
