When I first saw the Energon Bear episode from the first season, I immediately thought that the bear looked like a Kraang experiment from the 2012 TMNT series. The next episode is my favorite of this batch!
15:37 No surprise. I kinda mentioned it in the last episode. This show was made by some of the people who worked on the TMNT 2012 series. The last episode had so many references to that show, that it's really hard not to notice.
I heavily agree with your interpretation of the ending - I got the feeling it was Twitch trying to say “he’s a chaos Terran, he doesn’t know better really” when it comes to this. I didnt see it as Twitch saying “he’s evil” but rather as “he’s an asshole” lol
So they named an episode from that Edward and Henry song from T&F. My opinions on this episode. It's, fine? I'm not too crazy about this episode, and it's easily JB's weakest one yet. Sure we get him and Aftermath paired up, and it was somewhat fun to see. I do like seeing JB being nice to Aftermath only to change his worldview of chaos terrans by the end and following the next episode due to AM somehow stealing all the cavewater in, what? 30 minutes? I do also like they're interactions as they seemed like a fun duo, however I feel it's a bit out of character when he shows interest in Starscream. My main issue with the episode is it's kind of forgettable. I don't know why I feel like that, but I wasn't engaged in the plot. Which is ashamed because I was really looking forward to this one. The mushroom monsters are, something. Earthspark has a thing with the Unholy, those things look like they're from Amphibia,, or The Owl House. Also, why is the contaminated energon still in the woods?! How has Dot, or anybody not dealt with it yet? The bear and mushroom incident should be enough to tell them, "Oh this stuff is dangerous and harming the forest, we should get rid of it." As for the B-Plot of the episode, it's alright. Nothing groundbreaking, it's just the last time we see the Cyber-syncing ability as I guess now they have to conserve their cave water supply after Aftermath stole it. You know, I kinda would have prefered if Nightshade took Aftermath's spot. A- Nightshade gets NOTHING to do in Season 2A, and B- having them and JB teamed up sounds interesting as those two are the only terrans with beast modes and they haven't really interacted with each other. Overall, this episode wasn't bad, it's just fine. 6/10
I would be soooo happy if it’s a Nightshade Jawbreaker episode 🥹🥹 They are so similar (beastformers who obtained an alt mode later than others) yet so different (nightshade is assertive, knows what they are doing, and intentionally choose not to conform to social norms, while JB is almost the opposite). It’d be fun to see them actually interact and maybe even argue. At the beginning of the ep, JB seems to be a little sad that he was less of a priority to Nightshade, and I thought the episode might address that later. But nope :( And Nightshade didn’t even seem that impressed that their brother discovered a new way of syncing.
@@raven__desk Right?! This would have been so much more interesting as a Nightshade & Jawbreaker episode just because of how different their personalities are, and the subtle interaction between them at the beginning could have been hints for a heart-to-heart between them. Also, we'd also get a Nightshade episode, even if it was joint with JB, I'd be happy. As for their cyber-sync, I'd say with both with beast modes, they could be a griffin or a mini dragon, it would really suit them.
so I just looked at imdb and according to it the writers from season 1 didn't return for this batch which is concerning because switching out the old writing team for a new one for season 2 of your series isn't very smart and often leads to story issues and some cases character Assisnations for example Starscream. It seems like after earthspark season 1 took a lot of risks and creative decisions hasbro threw the old writing team out and replaced them with some new writers then those writers where told to do something basic and safer.
@griffysfnafchannel That is not true. Only five of this season's ten episodes were written by new writers. The other five were written by Season 1 writers. Please do not spread misinformation on my channel.
@@griffysfnafchannel you are actually right tho. Season 1 had 5 main writers, Mae Catt, Nicole Dubuc, Isabel Galupo, Dale Malinowski, and Maasai Singleton. (They are also the writers of S1E1718) Nicole Dubuc left at the end of batch 2, and the other 3 left at the end of season 1. Dale is the only one who's still there for Season 2. Among the “5 episodes” in Season 2, 3 were written by Dale (in collaboration with some new writers). 2 are written by writers who was only responsible for a single episode in Season 1.

This is actually enjoyable
i wonder if they will tackle breakdown and starscream in the next batch of episodes considering
what happens
@@speedflashanimations221 You and me both!
2:20: It's kinda like the crash combiners in RID 2015. Specifically, with the stunticons who were the only ones who preformed this ability.
That's exactly what I was gonna say 😁!
