The Elden Ring Kindred of Rot exaltation location is locked behind a boss in a cave. This Elden Ring kindred of rot exaltation talisman is really powerful for any melee build if you know its secrets. It's secretly one of the best talismans in the game.

You don't have to have the poison on yourself. Enemies count as well, and you get a green flash when it activates. Excellent damage buff when combined with a rot weapon
I think he meant that as in that you can buff yourself with it before you poison the enemy

This really helps a lot. Now Poleblade of the Bud is slightly less useless.
Little late to the party but you could use this with the typical bleed buffs, white mask and Lord of blood talisman, which you also inflict by Seppuku. Means you are making yourself bleed. Then poison yourself with this talisman equipped. There is some pretty insane damage potential. I need to try that.
It's used in boss speedrun builds to 1 shot them

Crystalian ash summon +4 works very well in this fight. She occupies one and you can kill the other. Shield helps. A lot.
the mushroom armor set is in that cave as well.
If you go left where he says it loops around you can get the rest of the mushroom armor that goes with the mushroom crown

This buff only lasts like 20 seconds and only procs on poison application not on continuing poison ticks. So unless you are poisoning once every 20 seconds it's just a 20 second buff.
Bosses don't take longer then 20 seconds. So this talisman is very much worth it

I'm using two standard katanas, I have the black whetstone to put poison affinity on both, this talisman melts most things in a few swipes.
Does it stack with the mushroom helm that gives you attack when something is poisoned?

Like, FromSoft doesn't care much in previous games (like patches or fixing bugs take quite a while before it is done),
but for Elden Ring (let's take a history lesson)
Bandai seeing Elden Ring sold for 12,000,000 and what do they do ?
- Nerfed items for PVP reason
- Nerfed bosses for PVE reason
If it were up to FromSoft, maybe later on we see a nerfing stuff, but I'm willing to bet, all of these changes are orders from Bandai... And imagine if Bandai seeing they could put in-game stores in Elden Ring...
Sorry for long rant...
@@night00glider i think some of the nerfs were knee jerk reactions. and there's likely more to come. i just hope they keep most things powerful instead of making everything weaker to balance things out.
