That is a Parachute and Parachuting rig setup on Snow Serpent, those spots painted silver are spot on and the one on the front is the release handle. The mask is an oxygen breather for HALO and HAHO missions. HALO = High Altitude Low Opening and HAHO = High Altitude High Opening you need oxygen at those altitudes or you will pass out. These are some of the hardest airborne jumps to perform and are used only by Special Operations Forces and Government Agencies.

Love that night creeper and the original was one of my favorites as a kid. I had mainly tmnt and other random figures but I had lots of random gi joe also. That second head must be from a different version like you said because I've never seen it myself
Never been a big Joe guy, but I really love these figs. So much detail, and so many accessories! They really manage to bring out the personality of the characters. Thanks for the great video!
The key to make Joes a priority is create a shelf that mix Joes and Marvel Legends :) it's not hard to find a way, since Cobra goons can be some bad guys to fight the Avengers or whatever you like

That opening skit with the dark and gritty environment... So awesome to see that again! When it comes to how they're doing the newer shoulders, I'm not sure how to feel about that. It looks hella finicky, and I'm not sure if it actually improves the shoulder articulation. Still, I don't have a figure with that more recent shoulder set up, so I can't say for certain if it's better or worse.
I hate to call them this but do you remember a cheap (it was what I thought of them at the time) knockoff of G.I. Joe called the C.O.R.P.S. ? I thought they were cheap because at that time you could buy a pack of like 9 figures for like $12. They were I guess a set to play along with the Joes. I saw them again in the 90s when G.I. Joe was being sold as adventure sets. Now that Joe has become Classified I have been surprised the C.O.R.P.S. has not been rereleased in Classified size, articulation and weapons.
When I was a kid G.I. joe came out then Transformers came out. I loved Transformers more, but I had more G.I. Joe toys. The hardest part was waiting for February to come because February was when the new Joes would come out. Buzzer, Ripper and Torch came out earlier without any indication of what other Joe figures would come out. Doc was the first of the second wave of Joes to come out and that was also around the time G.I. Joe: RAH #11 came out. The same issue introduced SnowJob and his snowmobile. That was the first vehicle of the second wave of Joes to come out. I remember getting Doc and the snowmobile at the same time.

On your Hawk, the left shoulder butterfly insert is connected to the shoulder, it moved perfectly with it when you moved it around. It looks like the right one isn't connected somehow and is really loosey goosey flippity floppity.
My “fix” for Buzzer’s shades is: I use some sunglasses that came with one of my Shawn Michaels figures. They’re small enough that they actually fit well on Buzzer and look similar to the ones he comes with.
I got zero attachment to G.I. Joe, but I'm a sucker for some nice army builders and characters I can mix in with others. A squad of the snow serpents would look really good hunting down Wolverine in a Canadian forest. Jinx feels like she'd go nicely with Daredevil and Elektra against a bunch of Hand ninjas... or rather, the Classified ninjas I'm using _as_ Hand ninjas, because they're just better figures.
Taking a hint from the original Dusty that might also work for Hawk ro tighten up the helmet. Try turning the head goggles around so the lenses ar to the back and see if the helmet then slides securely down over that.
The Snow Serpent outfits in those classic colors make me desire a custom Spies Like Us version where taking a plasma series Dan Ackroyd head on that body. Too bad there's no Chevy Chase action figures in that scale. Is it too late to ask Hasbro to release a Fletch line?
I just noticed something! Doc's stretcher looks like it's designed to peg into the back of any figure that is laying on it. If that was done on purpose, that's GENIUS!
I got 2 of the retro snow serpent, I have zero nostalgia for GI Joe, but man that blue and white just looks so good. I have 2 of each version hanging out on the shelf next to 4 techno vipers, the white and purple contrast, sooo good. And I've got my Doc figure holding the stretcher, mostly so all of his pouches have a place
i only love the dreadnoks, zartan and thrasher with his thunder machine, plus the crimson twins, and the crimson guards, oh yeah, and old snake face commander,...and last but not least storm shadow,...........marius(punk rules).
I'm hoping they eventually make the Ninja Force Night Creeper since they already got the head made. This might get me some side eye but, if they engineer a neck and ball peg scheme to make it compatible, they could just reuse that 2nd head with the movie Snake Eyes body sculpt in the Ninja Force Night Creeper color way, and I'd be down for squad of them. The movie made people hate that version of Snake Eyes. But, I thought the sculpt was cool. They lost out on that sculpt. I think my idea is the first good excuse for reuse.

I have a few GI Joe figures. They were so cheap at Ross, so I picked up a few that I thought were cool. Croc Master was $12, so I bought 4 of him because he comes with a crocodile, and then I bought Outback.
@Blitzkrieger17 I found them when I lived with some friends in El Paso, Texas last year. The Ross stores out there were okay for the most part. Other Ross stores in different states had all of the real goodies.
Night Creeper was my favorite from the later part of the O-ring era. Now they just need to get the one that topped it back then into Classified. The Night Creeper Leader! (Orange pants with black tiger stripes figure, not the DIC cartoon version.) I got 9 Night Creepers. 6 default, 3 with the alt head. I'm tempted to get 3 more and mod (remove the shoulder overlay) to have some with a slightly different look. Now just give me a retro card version with the shin wraps instead of the shin armor and I'll get 6 of those, and another 6 of the Ninja Force Night Creepers. And1, or 2, of the aforementioned Leader, so I can complete the whole clan! P.S. We also need all the Ninja Force characters in Classified. And the rest of the "martial artist" characters, as well. Also, I've said this elsewhere. But, I think the alt Night Creeper head with the movie Snake Eyes body in Ninja Force Night Creeper colors would be perfect!

My problem is I enjoy all the Joes. Part of the logic to help me say No is as follows: Yes they are all great figures, no you can’t have them all. So Yes Mythic Legions are awesome. No I can’t get something from every offering. Yes Monster Force is super cool. No you can’t have an army of Sleepwalkers. Maybe a squad. Yes the Nightcreepers are bad ass. No you can’t have six. Three will do. Anyway. I’m trying. I have so many cool Joes, Legends, Legions, etc… Yes I can enjoy the ones I have, no I don’t have to collect them all. That said. I got all these guys. I don’t know which I like better the Cylon style head or hooded one for the Creepers. Benefit of more than one to display both. The color scheme is crazy but does work so well. I think they have lots of Snake Eyes Storm Shadow pieces so they are smaller than other builds. They still kick but. The Arctic guys are great. I look forward to more variety. There’s a cool Stalker variant with canoe I’m hoping they do a deluxe version and include an otter little buddy. Frostbite is cool. I think there’s a Snow Viper which had a cool look. I’d like an Arctic gear Snake Eyes. His stealth approach is suited for the harsh cold environment. Plus Timber is a cold weather critter. The Dreadnoks are insane. The Road Pig coming with others like Heart Wrencher (Zarana repaint), Monkey Wrench, Zanzibar, Zania, any new crazy they want to create. So many fun options with interesting looks including vehicles. Thunder Machine in 2025, please Hasbro. Cold Slither exclusive. I’ll take it. Anyway. Tip I’m sure you heard. Use Hawk’s extra goggles reversed to help the helmet seat better on head. Enjoy!
I think that's healthy and something I still struggle with. GIMME ALL THE TOYS. No, wait, I can't display them all. I can't even open them all. I can't enjoy them all. Keep it to all the ones I really really want and then go from there. If I regret passing them up several months down the road, go back and get them. Maybe they'll be on clearance, maybe they'll be gone and I'll know it wasn't meant to be. If I don't regret skipping, money and space saved.
Torch and Doc just restocked here, so I grabbed an extra pair of them. Now I need a Cold Slither set. I have guitars, TF keytar, and some ornament snares. Probably got a keyboard proper around here, too...? I still need that/A Snow Serpent. or about four of them. Jinx was always masked for me, and my ARAH Jinx sacrificed her crotch to Scarlett. Not sure what I used for her after that? Guy crotches looked like diapers on the ladies. LOL
The female to Joe torso articulation is really frustrating but especially on jinx its really limited I tried improving it by dremmeling it but it just pops apart plus not being able to take of the torso overlays on the figures like you can with the valaverse figures doesn't make sense to me.
Yeah, I didn't see that until I got into edits. I knew something was wacky but I thought I had just put them on crooked. Going to fix that sometime this week. I also notice the blue on the Snow Serpent gloves is messy.

Hawk's smaller goggles ( like Dusty) can go on his head BACKWARDS to help seat the helmet properly. Not a widely advertised tip, but it's there.

I think that's healthy and something I still struggle with. GIMME ALL THE TOYS. No, wait, I can't display them all. I can't even open them all. I can't enjoy them all. Keep it to all the ones I really really want and then go from there. If I regret passing them up several months down the road, go back and get them. Maybe they'll be on clearance, maybe they'll be gone and I'll know it wasn't meant to be. If I don't regret skipping, money and space saved.

The female to Joe torso articulation is really frustrating but especially on jinx its really limited I tried improving it by dremmeling it but it just pops apart plus not being able to take of the torso overlays on the figures like you can with the valaverse figures doesn't make sense to me.
Man, there are some sloppy paint jobs and QA issues all over those. Doc's glasses are whacked.
Yeah, I didn't see that until I got into edits. I knew something was wacky but I thought I had just put them on crooked. Going to fix that sometime this week. I also notice the blue on the Snow Serpent gloves is messy.
