Cool knife! 'Love to see you slashing those vines. I'm still at the start and from what I've seen it makes me think of a slimline machete, also because of the use you're displaying - and I just picked up a SOG Sogfari for vine slashing. Machetes on the brain.
I could absolutely see that brother and I am in the same mindset right now lol I was thinking about coming back this weekend with a couple more different ones
Great stuff Scab. Really dig the knife, and the name of the knife lol. That 1x4 cut was bad ass. You're actually a really good cutter brother, much harder with a knife than a sword. I know it's not the main focus of the channel, but you can definitely hang brother!
That thing is sleek! I like the modern minimalist look. I mean you can bring that along easily without it taking up too much space but then you pull it out and you have a knife! Reply
That's the kind of knife I'm looking for a good clearing knife slash mastitis, just long enough to keep the snakes away ,lol 😂 and the tree huggers should be helping you if they knew the damage those vines really do ,most of that crappy vine come from China if I'm not mistaken
One of your tree hugger 🌳🫂 friends here, up north just a little ways from y'all - we're seeing invasive vines absolutely killing domestic American trees in the mid-atlantic now. As much fun as that dagger looks, I should probably get an actual machete...
@@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors thanks for your opinion mate! bloody good reviews too!!! im getting me a Ares because well why not! they are so mean looking, just the big decision choil or no choil still not sure i got smaller knifes for the fine work but if i aint got any on hand is it worth having the choil on Ares or will the extra blade length be more beneficial ... lmfao sorry just rambles of a knife addict.

I used to have an Aikuchi which looked like that only with a Japanese wrapped handle.

what is your opinion on the choil for the larger work tuff gear knives specifically the wtg Ares
I'll never use it.. I understand the thought process behind it but I prefer having a little more blade
