Teen Dream - Toy (Basement Mix)

Teen Dream was a short-lived Pop/R&B group from Columbus, Ohio. The group released albums in 1987 and 1989, and their singles were: 'Let's Get Busy', 'Slip-Slide', 'Toy', and 'Ring My Bell' (cover of Anita Ward song).

I wrote this back in mid 80's. Didn't realize the group Corona basically used the melody.

Lee Marrow’s 1992 club hit Try Me Out is basically a reworked version of this song and borrows/samples much of the lyrics and melody.
