Good Innings by Mandhana but I feel like the team is relying too much on selected 2-3 batters. When their wickets fall early, the entire batting order collapses. This trend needs to be solved to emerge as strong batting team

I hope they can find a good number 3. And a good number 5-6-7. Basically After the openers and Harman are out it's game over. I felt Yastika played a great innings at number 3 today. And I absolutely love Jemimah Rodrigues. So they need 2-3 allrounders to come in and finish the innings well

From an Aussie perspective, it'll be important for this Indian team to start developing some middle order bats. Yastika's come good at the top so there's extra stability there, but there's just nothing after Kaur. I hope the domestic competitions in India continue to be supported in the future, there's just so much talent there.

I believe India needs a third opener in hand for quite some time now. Shefali hasn't delivered for quite some time now. Sometimes she's unlucky the way she gets out but some of the time, the timing and the shot played has been below par, she is a class of a hitter but somehow she has lost her timing and now she needs to go back to the roots and recover herself.

Prob is the rest of the batting can't score, so always pressure on top-2.

Verma should come as a finisher. Not as an opener. She tries to hit every ball for six. That's not the way to open the batting. Even Sehwag was agressive but he batted sensibly enough

Whenever I see this team play I feel they are more than capable to win a one day or T20 World Cup. It would be matter of great regret if such a talented side does not make it big. They are missing services of a good coach and Team Manager like Dravid. Also of a sports psychologist. Everytime I see Mandana batting I get memories of Sourav Ganguly and Chanderpaul with that less than perfect pull shot and lofted shot over mid-on. Indian Fielding & Wicket Keeping is World Class.
