Thanks for the historical facts on Kookaburras in America. It took our forefathers decades to finally drive those monsters out of here. I believe over 2.5 -million people died during the Kookaburra Cleansing Era. --- Heros, all of them!
My old mate was killed by such a bird in the late 70’s just outside of Sydney. Not enough, the predator also raped his dog and stole two cans of baked beans straight out of the pantry. Never underestimate these birds, they are very intelligent!!!
They don't even eat the cans of beans. The evil little buggers put them on campfires and aim them toward populated areas. I've seen them prowling the streets afterwards devouring headshotted, bean basted humans.
American: HOLY FUCK A MAN EATING BIRD WHAT THE FUCK SHOULD I DO I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE NEAR THAT SCARY MOTHERFUCKER Australian: Oh look, a Kookaburra. They've been known to kill humans but I should be just alright, just go 'head and close the screen door, yep just like that, perfect now where were we?
Fernando Rueda bro them kookaburras are a real problem here in doolandella they eating all the livestock and have been know to attack ppl mani'm tell ya
In the US, many keep specially trained dogs, labradors, to fend off such attacks. You often see people in the parks drilling and training their dogs to intercept attacking birds in flight using sticks, balls and frisbees. The dogs work well as I can't remember the last time any kookaburra attacks have been reported
They might not kill you, but they are pricks. They used to smash seed pods on my grandfather's car for some reason. He was at war with them for years. Man that was funny.
We have killer butterflies in Texas. They have long bodies and sharp fangs, and when you get near them they rattle the ends of their tails. They are truly frightening creatures.
Oh Greg I love your videos You make Australia seem so deadly hahaha You Greg are the stereotypical Aussie Bloke thumbs up to ya Used to live in Brisbane beautiful city
Almost as dangerous at pigeons. A couple lives in the tree in front of our house and they try to look inside through our balcony door to see what we're doing.. They're spying on us.
Pretty happy we don't get em around here, although the place is infested with emus. You don't want to be caught on foot when one of them comes strolling out of the scrub.
were very lucky down here in victoria, they are not very common, its the drop bears we have to worry about. and the rain and wind and cold and crap roads and.....stuff this, any room for me up there old fella?
I was having a run today and then I heard the Kookaburras in a loud group, then they attacked me, I luckily got away but now Im sitting in the hospital with a leg missing.
Omg I love you :D Hope you got through it safely, well I guess you must have otherwise you wouldn't have been able to upload this video warning those unfamiliar with the dangers of kookaburras
This is no joke. Y'all play the video again and pause at the close ups. You can see that look of mayhem in their beady little eyes, not to mention the "40 yard stare" that you only see in battle beaten Vets. This means these birds have likely been thru a good number of murderous rampages, so you don't wanna fuck with 'em, not even joking around cuz they don't play that shit. They're bad muthas! I'm glad I live in America. All our Kookaburra left 50 years ago...went to Australia.
A highly informative video for the uninitiated ... Hopefully you will do a segment on another deadly species of predatory bird .. The willy wagtail .. I've been attacked once and survived .. Was touch and go for a while there ... Was put into an induced coma .. Anyways... still here and that's the Main thing
So many conspiracy's! If even one is true... then they all must be true! OMG I saw a kookaburra yesterday! I need to post about this on the Abovetopsecret forums, They'll know what to do.
A garden slug chased me for a full 30 minutes the other day. Dainty birds got nothing on Canadian predatory Garden Slugs. Its a good thing I always carry a bit of salt with me. You cant be too careful. However, the bird did give you a dirty look. You're armed right? G.
One of these sneaky bastards found his way back to nz found my 22 and shot my cat point blank in the head the missus and I managed to get out alive. I later discovered he'd been having an affair with the missus and she was the one who snuck him home by hiding him in her wool.
You like to flirt with danger don't you Greg! Just look at those vicious birds grit their teeth in anticipation of you walking outside, so they can peck your eyballs out. I don't know which is more dangerous. The kookaburra or the hummingbird? Just plain scary!
dangerous ? Ha, We have moles that are ten times more dangerous than those feather dusters. Over here It is not uncommon to come around a lawnmower left running in the middle of a lawn with a pool of blood behind it. Even our horses are on stilts.

Cheers mate, still can't get over it.
They don't even eat the cans of beans. The evil little buggers put them on campfires and aim them toward populated areas. I've seen them prowling the streets afterwards devouring headshotted, bean basted humans.
Bean basted humans? Oh, the horror!! I just hope they never team up with the magpies. It won't be safe to go outside anywhere!!
I heard rumors that ISIS are breading them now, no wonder.
A kookaburra stalked and ate my family so I'm very grateful for your public service announcement
American: HOLY FUCK A MAN EATING BIRD WHAT THE FUCK SHOULD I DO I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE NEAR THAT SCARY MOTHERFUCKER

My grandfather was killed by kookaburras five or six years before my dad was born. Made it really tough on the family.
o.O And those birdies look so cute and sweet! And fluffy, if I met one I would never have thought they were deadly! *shivers*
I remember hand feeding some when I was a kid. They are sooooo cute!!!
I lost my uncle in the 1987 kookaburra massacre.

If the birds down there make that noise when excited. I may stay up here ;-)
by the time you've seen it it's already taken your wallet
When they gang up with flaming drop-bears, you know you're in trouble. Back away slowly, head down, never make eye contact...

Id be more afraid of Magpies during season, they attack everything that moves
A large kooaburra pull me arm off when I was jogging. I died!
Holy hell! 3!!! I've only ever had two in my back yard, but three... shit is about to go down!
Those birds are so amazingly loud.
Yeah, I hear ya. We have the venomous California Sparrow here.
... Cheers for that Stripes! I'll be on my lookout for them! :-)

I was having a run today and then I heard the Kookaburras in a loud group, then they attacked me, I luckily got away but now Im sitting in the hospital with a leg missing.
Generally speaking, birds take a dump just before they take off so beware!
Kookaburra's are Australia's second most dangerous bird, I think the Lorikeets are the most dangerous though. Vicious little bird those lorikeets.
