I’m an atheist and sometimes have trouble listening to people who talk about their faith often but you do it in a respectful way and you don’t preach or judge. If everyone behaved like that the world would be a better place.
I wanted to thank you for your comment and say, there's a big difference between religious people and those who have a real relationship with God through Jesus Christ- Jesus warned again and again about mainstream religion with their attitudes, judgments and rules of control- he called them hypocrites, children of Satan, wolves in sheep's clothing ECT. Jesus said just get in his word and read for yourself don't listen to other men who have other or bad doctrines that he has nothing to do with. I have read, believed, and tested and actually did everything the Bible says and found it to be true, I have first-hand experience having lived it and I encourage you to do the same. Jesus said if you will seek him with your whole heart he will manifest himself and prove to you that he is real. Just don't stop or give up until you get the manifestation of what you're looking for because God will never ever let you down- but mankind will

I'm almost 46, and I have friends that I've known 30 plus years, some for my entire life, and there is absolutely nothing that can replace them. There's something very special about those relationships and those memories.

But people do this to put food on the table. They just don't shoot the animal and go home. If there wasn't a lengthy deer season throughout this country every fall, deer, specifically, would be so numerous they would starve due to overpopulation. Not watching the channel because of this one story, is kind of ridiculous. He educates people on faith. You're missing out on significantly more just by not liking this one story. It's overreaction. One of my fondest and funniest memories of the Amish and hunting was many years ago coming up behind a horse drawn wagon full of my Amish neighbors during deer season. All were dressed in their normal clothes adorned with pieces of hunter orange attached and carrying shotguns. What a sight! Another one is my Mennonite friend’s wife hopping out of the truck in a camouflage collared ankle length dress.

As an Athiest, I get a lot of judgement from religious people. I have judeo-christian values and my moral compass is straighter than the typical christians. I have some friends that are christian. We agree on 99% of life philosophy. I bow my head at my friend's house while he says the blessing. Its a respect thing.
My dad decided to raise a turkey & kill it for Thanksgiving. So, he straddles this turkey to place it's neck on the chopping block. My teenage brother was to swing the axe. He did, at that time the headless turkey starts running around, my dad was on it, holding on to the turkey neck, The neck was was squirting out blood, as dad was riding it, I think it lasted about 10 min. That TURKEY was giving dad a ride for his life. All over the place the turkey went.
