Hi Brian! The correct answer should be "Yes I have" but being a lazy ass I am and pushing through to get the build done, I skipped that part. I know... LOL!!! Good luck with your build and have fun!

Thank you Sudip! Oddly enough, she looks EXACTLY as she did on the day 1. No additional aging or patina although way more hours of playing could add to it I am sure.

where would you suggest to buy the neck? I'm considering MJTele on ebay for the body :) thanks
I got my neck from MJT too. I believe their body routing allows your standard regular Fender necks if not mistaken. You should be able to shop for a good deal on one of those or getting one from MJT if you don't mind what the headstock looks like or a logo on it.
What color and type of relic is the body?

Also my bud has a MJT strat body in white matched up with a 70's large headstock all parts neck he bought or got in a trade ... those bodies are nice !!
