This is how I went through a set of rears in 5000 miles in my M340 lol the car is just so easy to control in slides. Great video and brilliant driving sir.
I’m choosing between a c43 and an m340i. acceleration and interior, and exhaust are dead even to me. Personably I’m more attracted by the c43s exhaust and exterior . sounds a Is the m340i noticibily better at drifting and more fun to drive in general that I should change my mind ?
Is the car stock if so what are you using to drift it? Because tcs is off and I’m still getting 30% fwd and 70rwd even in sport plus too g20 model 340i
I have yet to slide the car with everything off. I hit the traction button once to put it into dynamic mode. I was either in sport+ or sport individual (my configuration is sport+ engine and comfort for everything else)
@@alloush5995 Great question! So the m340i doesn't have BMW's drift analyser, but I think the car's computers can still recognise the angle of your drift, and if it reaches a certain threshhold and your traction control is in dynamic mode, it will imediately stop the drift and get the car going straight again. That's at least what I felt. I've never driven the car with traction control fully disabled because dynamic mode still lets you have a ton of fun and drift. If you're the type to err on the side of danger, BMW is one of the only brands that lets you 100% disable traction control.
don't feel bad. This car get's so much extra maintenance and is never abused in the sense that it's being driven hard while cold, constant launch controls, etc... It's never had any mechanical issues and the only problems it did give me were a faulty IAT sensor, and Blind spot monitoring failure. Everything in the video would be considered normal operation ;)
aye g I got a question. Is that RWD? If so how does it feel driving it in the rain? I'm in the market of getting one but I've never got the chance to drive one in the rain so I'm just researching at this point g, all info u give is valid.. thanks
idk how hard you plan on driving it in wet conditions but it drives great in the rain lol. BMW traction control is really good so as long as you leave it on it's impossible to get the car to slip at all. I've actually tried to push the limits of what BMW traction control can do in the rain and it always keeps me safe and away from danger. When you put it in dynamic mode, or disable it completely, you could lose the rear end real fast if you aren't careful. The B58 develops torque extremely quickly and can overwhelm the balance of the car if the driver cannot control it (basically the end of this video). Hope this helps :)
The one in this video is rwd. Make sure you hold down the traction control button to disable it 100%. You have to seriously commit with the gas pedal and steering when trying to drift an xdrive car. It can be done, but please try learning it in a open safe area.
@@DDDFFF-cb7ix in this cgi render the road surface is slick due to the rain. Also the b58 is just a torque monster and hardly takes anything to step out the rear.
I believe this is the rwd model, which comes with an active diff I believe. If u get the xdrive it’s open diff but lsd can be fitted from the factory. My. 340i xdrive is open diff can’t drift with it
G2x M340i's have electronic limited slip diff. F3x 340i's have open diffs but there was a zcp or track pack that gave them adaptive dampers and the lsd. Unfortunately it is quite rare.
Beautiful CGI and beautiful Mexico.

Those Graphics 🔥😂
those are some nice power slides mah boi
I cringed at that last one, always remember if its raining, half gas than what you usually do when its dry.
Yup!! It was actually my first or second time ever trying this so I'm glad I got to learn without any consequence.

I'm fairly certain they are Michelin Pilot Sport ZP's. It was the performance runflat option from BMW. Great tyres but their lifespan is very short.
