I have been looking for a di-chlor that didn't have the cyanuric acid (CYA) additive for my swim spa and hot tub because my units are always covered (unless I'm in them of course) and I don't need the CYA to keep the chlorine from burning off. My wife found this product and its great because I won't have any more CYA buildup throwing the chemistry of my entire unit out of whack. I certainly don't mind less chlorine use and only shocking once a month now too.
@@FrogProducts My quick feedback as a new user is the initial unit didn't include shock even though the directions say to add shock initially to establish a baseline chlorine level before floating the frog. So, I had to add my usual Di-Chlor to do that which is was trying to avoid to not add CYA to my swim spa. I just received the kit for my hot tub and it has the same issue, replacement cartridges but no initial shock to get started.

Hi Andy! We are going to be rolling out start-up shocks in our system kits in the next year or so. Thank you for the feedback 🐸
