@@FrogProducts My quick feedback as a new user is the initial unit didn't include shock even though the directions say to add shock initially to establish a baseline chlorine level before floating the frog. So, I had to add my usual Di-Chlor to do that which is was trying to avoid to not add CYA to my swim spa. I just received the kit for my hot tub and it has the same issue, replacement cartridges but no initial shock to get started.

@@JC-gd3cc Thank you so much! I've opened my cartridges, but I don't know what chemical to use or how to reseal the cartridge. I've looked for a hack on YT, but it's been a while. I'll look again.(If you find the link post it here) As you say, Bullfrog would be able to sell the refill chemicals and eliminate so much unnecessary waste. Believe me, Friends ask about our spa, I say, "l like it, but the cost of new cartridges is ridiculous and the waste is so unnecessary." Hey, Bullfrog, that is NOT good advertising! Is it?

Whenever possible, we do recommend storing the unit indoors to prevent possible weather damage. If this is not an option, make sure that the unit is dried out completely and that the knobs/cap are left loose to prevent cracking. If the unit is getting left hooked up, we also recommend covering it to protect from the elements

@@FrogProducts my M8 series is 475 gal and my reading says I’m low in smart chlorine and alkalinity and it’s been what 11 days old? Why it says should last 3-4 weeks
