- Comparing the brand new Toreador from GTA 5 Online Cayo Perico Heist update with Stromberg. Both Toreador and Stromberg are vehicles which can convert from car to a submarine making them amphibious vehicles. The new submarine vehicle is especially useful around the new island which was added in GTA Online as part of Cayo Perico dlc update.

Only thing I prefer about the Stromberg is that it actually has animations for missiles and machine gun. In the Toreador they just kinda appear in front of the car but Stromberg actually fires the missiles from the car and you can see them before you fire.

Both vehicles are the same but the toreador is faster, but the stromberg has a tiny bit stronger machine guns and a tiny bit more lock on range than the toreador. Plus even though they have the same armor, the toreador's roof is vulnerable, meaning the car will be on fire after getting hit by a few misses and eventually explode. That is why I think the Stromberg is still viable today.
And the Stromberg doesn't flip as much, the Toreador is lighter meaning it gets flung by explosions, but the Stromberg is heavy, making it generally better to drive along with not getting thrown around by explosions.

I was and am not a fan of Stromberg, but to those who love the Stromberg, I know how it feels like when a better vehicle is dominating. I used to have opmk1 but when opmk2 came, it took me for long time to realize that the opmk2 is truly useful. I tried the Stromberg, it is not my type. When the toreador came, it is just OP I feel like selling it for money. I can't do it. Why? The vehicle is just amazing. It sucks it can't fly unless you find a hill, ramp or whatever.
Stromberg was my first special car. I remember fighting off griefiers in it. Good memories

The Toreador has become my favorite car nowadays. It gives you some time to escape from griefers in their MK2 by taking 6 missiles and those that are also on foot just shooting at you. You use the thrusters to escape.

Vigilante: boost and can be used in heists. Also just a dot on minimap

except the toreador's windows are not as durable as the stromberg's, and it's basically made out of window

I was able to use my Stromberg in a heist a couple of times. It was glitchy but still. Stromberg is a cheaper alternative to this ugly mini sub. Plus you can store it in the nuclear sub too. When I get up to $30 million, I’ll buy this as well. That might put me to 100 cars.

Stromberg needs a price reduction with Toreador around, 400k total difference for two extra seats, better underwater performance and getting a boost, it's just silly. A fully upgraded Stromberg should be 2.5-3 million to be more in line with its capabilities

I mean funny joke but not really it’s got two more seats and it’s faster on land the water is a very minimal difference 4 seconds isn’t gonna be a game changer in any situation. On land pure speed significantly better apart from that I’d say it’s personal preference. I’ll stick with the Stromberg because I’m loyal and it’s sexier

So my guy. The rockets r the same as the Stromberg. The bad fact about the Stromberg is that it's slower. But yall know it's better in fights. When I'm fighting this kids with a toreadors they r just using the boost cuz they r scared. Fun fact is that the boost doesn't help u for anything in this situation I just kill them more easily cuz the rockets r amazing u know.

It really annoys me how much they hyped us up for the Cayo Perico update saying it was the biggest update ever, when all they gave us was a bunch of copied vehicles. New stealth heli, we already had the Akula, new big bomber plane, we already had the Volatol, and new submarine car, we already had the Stromberg. And yes I know there were some other normal cars, but I’m not gonna mention them. Other than the submarine and the heist and a few other normal cars, which are way too expensive, it’s all copied. I think the Casino update or the update where the Facilities came out, those were much bigger and better.
