The Nate and Cassie scene in the bathroom trying to hide from Maddy was so intense, it had me on the edge of my seat. This episode was so good though

@mara yeager. I agree with the first part. Cassie has always been this messy and she knew maddy would get extremely upset if she found out. She always cheats and acts like a bozo . I just want Maddy to beat her up hopefully the next episode that happens something like that

@mara yeager. honestly, i think cassie was blacked out at this point. (and i'm not excusing her behavior) when she was hiding and maddy came banging on the door, especially hiding in the tub for so long- she started to sober up. when she finally makes it out of the bathroom- she looks confused and obviously distraught. thats just my take, though. idk if anyone else thought that
Cassie’s storyline is too simple, no depth there. Her sisters storyline will be so much better and it’s well deserved

Before this season aired, I did not know what they meant when they said this season would be different. As much as I love Euphoria's popular look, I applaud them for having the guts for giving a very different feel for season 2. I definitely felt it and it just shows their talent, for being able to pull off the exact feeling they wanted the audience to feel.

That was the highlight of this clip for me, Sam tried really hard to not add "... to show her that it still won't take away the pain she's trying to heal"

This show is definitely gonna make history. It’s so different and frighteningly relatable it just really pulls you in. The way the start season 2 off with New Years while we’ve just begun a new year also makes you feel like you’re there with them. And can I just say tops to the Original Israeli Euphoria for inspiring Sam to make this version? Couldn’t have been without them!
You have a good point, but that’s just the same as Harry Potter’s program. I grew with it along with millions of people and feel closer to the storie because of it.
@@joanaschouten2073 I think that’s exactly what’s happening to the Euphoria audience aswell. Especially since it’s almost two years since the first season. There’s definitely a bound connection that’s grown since then. The season starting in the new year with new year just locks it right there in my opinion

we're finally getting fez's backstory!!! and we're getting more insight into lexi; this season is already off to such an intense start and i'm very much here for it

This guys mastering the film at the party, the way the camera flows to a character to another through the hallways, just incredible.

@@giselle5596 they cross processed (developing in a different chemical) Ektachrome 100D, it’s incredibly brave, because this look hasn’t been a thing since the 90s (photogs for fashion magazines did this a lot), and they instantly made it mainstream again

Can't believe Nate and Cassie hooked up... I wasn't expecting that. Can't wait until Maddie finds out she's going to flip lol. The ending scene for episode 1 season 2 was so satisfying. Nate deserved that and it's been a long time coming.
the whole show is incredibly amazing. we are on episode one and i'm already loving everything. the new characters, the development of the old ones, the scenes, the music, the shots, everything. what a great show.

Rue and maddy are such icons
The scenes between Cassie and Nate were some of the best I’ve seen in the whole show. The car scene with Orville Peck playing, the way the cars were whooshing past the faster Nate drove the car, Cassie sticking her head out the window. It was shot beautifully. Overall, the way the camera displayed the power dynamics between them, Cassie being constantly below him. It was just so well done!

THE END FEZCOOOO DID WHAT HE HAD TO DO
the fact that we can be so invested in an episode that takes place in one setting just shows how powerful the writing, directing, and acting is. we all love these characters so much, we can just watch them living their lives at one party. same goes for the carnival ep in season 1.

I love how it looks like Polaroid when the lights was snapping on each character literally chefs kisses.
Favorite part is the flash between the characters especially between Rue and Jules.
Also, Fez’s story is so interesting, definitely wasn’t what I was expecting, but honestly I didn’t know what to expect with him. Glad we got to know more about him and Ashtray.
while i do miss the “euphoric” & colorful scheme of season 1 i must admit they pulled off this change very well

That light/photo capturing moment gave me goosebumps- pure art. I like that stripped back look they're going for - less glitter/aesthetic lighting, more real and gritty. Not a lot of foundation/concealor is being used either, which gives the characters a more vulnerable, realistic look. Can't wait
