Zendaya leads an ensemble cast that also includes Maude Apatow, Angus Cloud, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King, Storm Reid, Hunter Schafer, Algee Smith and Sydney Sweeney.
All episodes created and written by Sam Levinson, who also serves as executive producer. Other executive producers include Drake, Future the Prince, Ravi Nandan, Kevin Turen, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, Tmira Yardeni, Mirit Toovi, Yoram Mokady, Gary Lennon and Jim Kleverweis. Produced in partnership with A24 and based on the Israeli series of the same name, which was created by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin, from HOT.

The costume dept has been killing it time and time again, they never miss. I like how Heidi and the team were able to create a wardrobe that seems "realistic" (as in: something each characters would choose themselves, that's why it's in quotes) and unique to every single character and how they reflect each characters journey through fashion. I wish we got to see more of the process for Lexi's costuming this season bc I feel like she has really evolved so much, both as a character and in her personal style :(

@@davidrogers5821 i 100% agree, i meant "realistic" as in: the way they dress feels like something their character would put together or choose in the mall, for example. I know in terms of budget or school dress codes this outfits are not realistic at all...

@@yesmine in episode 3, it talks about how Lexi is writing a play and the show breaks the 4th wall by following Lexi out a scene, as if she were directing the whole thing, and she talks directly to the audience
miss heidi here created a brand new aesthetic and completely changed the fashion/makeup world... truly inspiring!
Pat McGrath started those makeup looks way before Euphoria came out

Lol. I mean im not gunna deny Heidi is an outstanding designer. But she didnt invent euphoria fasion. Its mainly inspired by 90’s and early 2000’s fashion

i love how Hunter is so right about the aesthetic and us the fans, i've been experimenting A LOT with my looks since i catched up euphoria
i remember people back then used to create wonderful colorful looks , I would look at amazing makeup artists who did the same kind of makeup euphoria does , but people made fun of them in the comments or just said isn’t this a bit much ? This was before euphoria came out , so it’s interesting to see how people switch up and change and copy everything they see when they made fun of the same makeup looks back in the day

Maddie’s mansion closet try-on was such pure bliss. It’s like you’re in this fantasy world with her. And these gorgeous vintage archival pieces??? She really Is the Fashion girl. Old hollywood glamour… and really plays in with Maddie’s desire to be in that shoes. Love love this storytelling through clothes. Big props to the costume department 🤎
once again, barbie is left out! are we not going to talk about her major transition from last season to this one? kat's wardrobe has shifted massively and was a major plot point in last season and now sam is robbing us of her storyline at every turn. the representation kat's character brings means so much to so many people and it's super disheartening to see her being pushed to the side so much this season. i hope things change soon.

I saw somewhere that barbie and sam had a fallout over kat's storyline and that is why her story isn't as big this season and why she also wasn't at the premiere. that's probably why she isn't in these videos as well.

@countrymusicstar If you are into online shopping, go on Aliexpress and type any style of aesthetic you have in mind, Aliexpress has it ALL and is so affordable. I can't tell you what to search, that's for you to figure out. The great thing is you can save them in a list if you create an account and come back to them. Just a helpful suggestion.
Jules’ wardrobe was my favorite last season as well as this season! Lexi’s wardrobe is really nice too.

Yes, I love Jules' wardrobe the most. I love how she dresses up in super short skirts and cute tops. She's more into pastel and softer colours, putting glitters and radiant colours in her eye makeup.Kinda soft teen girl fashion I guess? Lexi dresses up more conservatively and it's good for someone like me who doesn't like revealing clothes.
It’s disappointing how they didn’t discuss Kat’s costuming.
I'm sad that Maddy doesn't wear baby colors anymore, but she still looks amazing this season
She did in that season with Cassie when they're twinning. But yeah i think that's the only time. I guess its cuz she isn't trying to impress Nate anymore.

@chyn4 naah I think she was trying to dress more feminine for Nate in the first season, cuz Nate is into hyper-feminine chicks, hence the baby colors. The one time she dressed like herself (carnival) , Nate got mad at her. She wore a lot of cherry and floral print in the first season, that's gone too. I think she's truly dressing for herself now, dark colours, vampy vibes, cutouts etc. Very similar vibe to her carnival and winter formal looks.
@countrymusicstar Definitely check out pieces from H&M, mix and match and you can definitely get Maddy's vibe. I have a similar style to her and thats my number one source for dressing up like her/similar to her :)
i love how hunter mentions how the fans can identify and use whatever the characters wear into their own lives because jules’ wardrobe is exactly the aesthetic I aspire to have. the androgyny is what I yearn for and I love that you can gain that impression purely based on fashion choice
What an amazing team. A director that gives the head of costume design the freedom to “do her thing”, and a costume designer that collaborates with the actors to create looks that reflect the emotions of the characters. That is so thoughtful and so special
i really miss the baby colors on outfits and the pallet color of last season, especially neons like purples and blue. But yeAh i definitely love the aesthetic this season as well

Not including Kat in this has to be intentional. Like she's one of the main characters!! They included fez's grand mom and didn't include Kat?! bruh
If you honestly believe that, then where's Nate? Where's Lexi? Where's Elliot? Where's Fez? Where's Ash? Where's McKay? Kat's storyline isn't integral to the main storyline and so isn't a main character.
@@McLarenKeith and fezco's grandma is a part of the main storyline? They're discussing the the transition of a character's style after the first season and the process behind designing the looks in this video. What style changes do you see in Ash, fezco, Nate, mckay from the first season?
When has, in any of the season, their clothes been a part of their character's expression, unlike Jules, Maddy, kat, and even rue. Even with Lexi, she basically has the same style and aesthetic, it's just that the outfits are more elevated since she's more of a main character now. And lexi's costumes have never been a huge part of her storyline and character expression unlike the rest of the female caste, except her Halloween costume. Whereas kat's visual expression has been a huge part of her storyline, or else why would the makers bother building such a distinct style and aesthetic for her, in both the seasons?
kat's style is a complete 180 from the first season. New aesthetic, new color pallete, new everything. The team would have spent so much time and energy on building her new wardrobe. Such a tedious process, and they don't even mention a sentence about it, in a video that is meant to be about the process behind the costuming?
They discuss rue's costuming process for the new season, which was basically "yeah, she just wears drab t-shirts and hoodies now"
But they don't say a word about kat's costuming process, which has clearly taken a lot of work.
At this point, you're just choosing to be blind.
@@udontknowme3920 I will be frank that atleast Fezco"s grandma's story was fun to watch, it was fast paced and impressive whereas Kat being a main character, her story was kinda boring, like her story was not well-written, I am sorry for that.

i think this might be only because we haven't seen much of Kat's fashion yet this season. the main focus has been on Rue & Cassie because of the intensity of their storylines so far. we'll probably see more of her behind the scenes fashion commentary once her storyline develops more ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
i'm so deeply in love with the passion and care that is poured into this show. euphoria sets the creative standard for all other types of media. it's truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience to witness this show. i hope other shows and films will follow in its footsteps.

the costumes for this show really make you want to go outside of the box in fashion boldly and it’s such a trivial thing in our world today with all the problems people have but it’s such a fun way to let go a little bit and as a nervous high school girl it makes me feel kind of empowered 💕💜

I love these videos and it's amazing to see how much thought goes behind each detail and contributes to the story like this!! And also Hunter is so articulate, I'd love to listen to her talk for hours on end!
I respect the fact that instead of going the safe route and emulating the purples and blues of the first season and all of the colorful stuff in it, they went for a more warmer and dark route to avoid feeling like a parody. I think it was specially important since people were saying that euphoria glamorized addiction, and they tried as hard as they could to prove that wrong in this season.

euphoria’s costume, makeup, and hair design are EVERYTHING, any despite and controversy I’m very glad that the show (among a few other things) have really inspired this generation to express themselves through their looks I just love it.
