It would be really helpful to have a video with tips on how to get your game to run smoothly when using all these mods/shaders, other than having a high spec PC lol my PC is somewhat powerful but even still the game runs slower and lags.
External ssd may help. I play on MAC and getting a ssd has worked wonders
Thank you so much for the great suggestion! However I actually don't do anything that would make my game run as good as it does apart from having a custom built pc! So I'm not sure I could give any advice with that.
One thing that helped me was deleting all of my tray files, though that means deleting everything in your library. I’d suggest not having too many things downloaded on there.
delete the local thumb cache file at LEAST once a week! it’s where all images are stored and it makes your game super slow as it generates images while you’re playing and when it builds up it will make your game laggy :))
The Sims 4 is CPU-heavy and if you plan on downloading a ton of mods and cc... I suggest you upgrade your CPU and RAM 16x or higher ^-^

Nope, the creator of Gshade has been accused of using some sort of malware on his program.

I noticed when you went on the gallery there were some shadows from the game distorting the gallery display. Is that from your reshade?
Yes it’s from the mxao shader that adds shadows

Thank you so much! I don’t have a Mac so I can’t say for sure but gshade/reshade doesn’t work for Mac from what I’ve seen. So I think the sunblind mod would be the perfect option for you! It’s not too heavy 🤍
