Yes to ALL OF THIS! Absolute SOCIOPATH! The first watch of the entire series, the turning point where she reveals herself shocked me so hard I couldn't sleep properly lol. The betrayal! She pretty much became the person she wanted revenge against: her grandmother Empress Dowager Zhou. Yet after all the people she killed, she still had the audacity to say it wasn't her fault. She was fighting against a corrupt government, fighting for the people! Lady WHERE? You want the Throne, power, by any means necessary! Shen da-ren was so lovesick... but I think his conscience at some point couldn't let him keep this up. As opposed to General Xue who did everything he was told, Shen got angry and spoke up. That's when the Princess pulled ALL THE STOPS! Tried everything to get him back. I used to think she did care for him more than she realized... I'm not sure. But yeah she stepped on many innocents and used them to get that throne. Killed, framed and much more. Zhuohua was never going to be true friends with her. Such a shame.
A Great Shame that SHEN JING HONG cannot see how vicious and Cruel Princess Jiao is. Not only she uses people around her, she has never been SINCERE with any of them. Jing Hong must have known that Princess Jiao killed General XIAO TONG. POOR JING HONG! He cannot escape though he tried to turn Princess Jiao, but too late. Princess JIAO IS OBSESSED WITH POWER! Glad the the youngEmperor CHEN has his Uncle the Prince Regent and Official MU Zhou Hua to help him!!!
Shen Jinghong was truly tragic. So much potential and a brilliant mind. Kind too. He just was never going to live this out. Treason, even if he was used by Rouija Gongzu, he worked against Emperor Chen and got found out. He may have helped at the end, but it was too little too late.
