Speech Therapy with Tongue Exercises Tool

The tongue is a very important muscle for swallowing and speaking. These exercises are designed to increase the strength of your tongue.
Tongue Tip Up
1. Place tongue on the bumpy area behind your top teeth or gumline.
2. Open mouth as wide as possible with tongue tip firmly in place.
3. Still complete this exercise even if the tip of your tongue does not reach the top of your mouth.
4. Hold for 5 seconds.
5. Relax and Repeat 5 times.

I feel like my tongue is solely responsible for speaking, with no tension felt in my lips. It seems like total control during speech is solely on my tongue. Due to this I experience discomfort while speaking, especially with words that include the 'd' or 't' sound, as my tongue hurts. could you suggest some exercises to correct this problem?
