My art progress took a massive hit when I lost my old job and had to take a job working to midnight to make ends meet for nearly a year, back in a 9-5 job now and couldn't be happier settling back into my old drawing routine, watching your videos and drawing along.
I feel you man. Trying to publish my own comic but took a huge hit when pandemic hit. Got a new job and hours are atrocious. Little by little I'll get to my goal. Just need to get back into the swing of things.

Ill have zero progress with hours and hours of practice, then watch a video about rendering, shadowing, or anatomy and get significantly better at drawing in a few minutes. I cant tell if that makes me a genius or an idiot

Working 12 hr night killed so much of my progress.

I couldn't really tell what face you were drawing, tbh. Did it have fabric over the face? I'm not sure what you were aiming at.
