I feel _The Mandalorian_ is the one production that truly used Stagecraft Volumes to its full potential. One of the reasons it became favored over greenscreen beside immersion for the actors is that it casts the correct lights and color. With green screen/blue screen/chromakey the color of the screen is captured and reflected by surfaces so it became a crutch to light the scenes dimly and remove reflective surfaces. The Mandalorian used that advantage to its full potential by having bright scenes, vibrant colors, expansive tracking shots and long takes, and the protagonist wore a costume so shiny that it was practically a mirror.

*My* *Favorite* *HOT* *D* *Characters* *So* *Far*
    1. Daemon 🖤
    2. Rhaenyra 🖤
    3. Otto 💚 (love his scheming and insults!)
    4. Viserys (good man but not a wise king)
    5. Corlys 🖤
    6. Rhaenys 🖤
    7. Laena 🖤
    8. Alicent 💚
    9. Criston 💚
    10. Mellos 💚 (if the maester conspiracy is true)
Daemon and Rhaenyra are #1 and #2, and it's not even close after that. It's like Elvis and Top Gun: Maverick for me this year in movies. Far and away my favs. Riding Caraxes and Syrax helps adds to their swag.
We still haven't seen enough characters yet. Like Aegon II might finally be born by Ep 3 but is still a child. And it seems Helaena is a popular one with the greens by book fans. She's the one riding Dreamfyre which I can't wait to see next to Sunfyre.
One-eyed Aemond is another important member from the greens. We still haven't seen Laenor 🖤, Laena's brother. I believe he'll appear in Ep 3. Many GOT/HOT D reactors are Black people. Good to see them get more represented. We do see Laenor in the trailers and he's chatting with his cousin, Rhaenyra, along a beach. 💒
It's ironic. Otto Hightower would be my #1 for most hated character on HOT D by a wide-margin. He's despicable. He's the one I want to see die first. He's the real villain to all this. But he would also rank in my top 3 for favorites because I like bad characters if the acting is great and Rhys is great.
To me, Matt Smith and Rhys Ifans really carry this show. The rivalry between Daemon vs. Otto carries this show. They enjoy trolling each other. It's the best so far until older Rhaenyra vs. older Alicent go at it. I'll admit, HOT D does feel smaller in scope due to we are only following fewer Houses. But I don't mind it. Easier to follow.

How to unsee this? I want to believe it's real just for the sake of my imagination now after seeing this it's not the same. ugh.

I can't believe the bridge wasn't real -- I knew it was a real location so I just assumed they went there again.

It looked beautiful but you can still tell that its not real unlike in GoT where the bridge was an actual location on Earth..still so cool what we can do with VFX now compared to just a few years before
