All told, it took about 3 hours, counting wardrobe changes, and several "re-takes". Incredible endurance for a 12-year old girl, who seemed to get better as the evening went on, even with all of the pressure directly on her.

I heard *Jackie Evancho* sing this live at 20 years old. Her voice is more mature now with the same beautiful tone and her delivery of this song is much more powerful. Jackie's voice is more pleasant to listen to than Celine's Canadian 'twang'. If a young adult Jackie had been the one to record this song for the movie Titanic no one would be talking about Celine with this song at all.

タイタニックの主な登場人物は女性のローズ、男性のジャックの2人です
単刀直入にいうと、ジャックは最後亡くなり、海に沈んでしまいます
その映画の主題歌の歌なので、目を覚ますと言ってるのではないでしょうか
もう少しお話に触れると、豪華客船のタイタニック号は氷山(氷河?)にぶつかり、浸水して沈んでしまうのですが、愛し合っていたジャックとローズは海に投げ出された後でも2人で一緒にいました
ジャックはドアが浮いているのを発見し、ローズにその上に乗るよう促し、ドアが沈まないように自分はドアにつかまりながら極寒の海の中に身を置いてました
しばらくしてやってきた救助船を見たローズは目を閉じているジャックを起こそうと声をかけます
しかしジャックは凍っており、腕がドアから外れるとそのまま沈んでいってしまいました
だから、沈んでしまったので、海中深く(タイタニックが見つかったのも海中深いので)にジャックはいて、また、2人が船の上で身分の差を超えた愛を描くシーンに使われたこの歌を
