Oh i'm so happy for you - the K1C is really a great printer, I have done a ton of hours on mine now and it is super-reliable. It's been my favorite printer so far I think.
Dang this unit is fast!!! Seez now i want one, just because of that ... I would simply enjoy the yesting process to see how fast i could print progressive angle over hang trsting samples, just to see what it would do, and how that can help various printing projects... Just amazing machine. And I will love my Ender 3-v2 no less, as that has been a wonderfully fantastic machine. I installed two analog/mechaincal hour meters on the ender, in case I at some point desired to rip the firmware out or upgrade for testing, didnt eant to lose the onboard clocks of "on time" and actualy "hotend print time", which is at a little over 11,000 hours of actual print time since I got it... Been an absolute work horse, and only replaced two belts, (my fault on those) and a few sets of wheels, naturally.. as those are a consumable part due to wear or friction.. and just ran out of cam adjustment for the wear amount.. (kinda also, my fault they wore out) lol .. great machine. I am so glad I went with the cost effective Ender 3-v2... But, this new machine here, has me exceptionally intrigued due to how fast it is..
I also really like my Enders - all of mine are V3 versions. The V3 is the same speed as this K1C and a little cheaper. The K1C can do carbon fiber filament so I have to get some of that to test now. Yeah you would notice a HUGE difference in speed from the V2 for sure.
you need to add a concrete slab under your printers :) just remember to add a 2-3mm foam sheet or something else soft under the concrete its a game changer on noise
this table is not the home for this printer - I have it on a nice solid cabinet now for sure. Foam sheet, then concrete slab, then printer - good tip tho. I always notice other videos and try to see what shelving units people use. Concrete slab is so simple - and definitely solid.
no troubles at all - it's been awesome. I put my K1 back in the box because the K1C never stops. I had some filament break just above the nozzle last night. Removed the extruder and heated up the nozzle...simple - pushed it out with a pin. The top of the nozzle meets the extruder so there is no other parts. I have the V3 also and these two machines are amazing. You are going to love it!
good video but half an hour later and my hands are still too big to plug in the control panel when will asians learn that our hands are twice the size of theirs you sir must have tiny hands
Hi There! I was wondering if you have a spare printer to donate or financially help me get one!. I suffered alot with the easythreed k9 so it would mean alot as i am underaged and unable to earn!
Sorry dude, I don't have any printers - these all belong to Creality and they just let me borrow them. A entry-level Ender 3 V3 SE is a decent machine and is less than $200 USD. So if you save up you could get one of those one day. Maybe your school has a 3d printer you can learn on? A good idea would be to look locally - what companies are in your area that may be able to help you. Maybe a local company has some printers they can let you learn on and when they buy a new one they would let you have an old one. Creality also has a livestream every week on youtube and we often give away printers in the livestream - so maybe you can win a new machine that way. Check out the official Creality channel.
warning if you dont have a phone (samsung apple ) dont buy cant run without a phone i have no service in my area so i cant use had to take it back for a refund just get a cheap one unless you are a pro not for you
you do not need a phone to use a 3d printer. There is a USB port on the front and you can load files on the USB. Or you can connect to wifi and print from your computer directly from Creality Print slicer software. I think you may have posted this comment on the wrong channel haha.
Good video Kevin, I cant' wait for you to show off the new K2 with CFS.
me too - i'm trying to get onto that floor and make a video. I desperately want more information.
I just got my k1c I'm following your video setting it up. Excellent video!
