In the secret devil boss the devil skeleton is holding the platforms with both his hands like in the unused devil animation or mainly the devil death card which further proves that the skeleton IS the devil, but the devil and angel (which are on his shoulder and probably a representation of shoulder angels) are still unknown. I might be wrong cause this is just speculation is still cool to find out and it might be right.
In my case, the angel and the devil is still the devil from the previous cuphead. Angel got little horns on his forehead. Yknow it kind of makes sense for the secret devil fight to happen as it does when you think about other "joke lore" in cuphead (oh boy it's about to get kind of lengthy here): The astral plane seems to be a legit place where ghosts and "dead but not cartoon dead" dead folk reside, as seen by Ms Chalice. This dlc mentions it a lot, so it wouldn't be strange to think that napping in a graveyard of all places could send someone there. Since you defeat the devil, it could be guessed that you just straight up killed him too. Somehow. Plus you're left literally fighting in his hands which conjur the stage, making it look like he actively called you here. Even the demon and angel make sense: the typical devil was technically both at different points, being why they both go back into him at the end. Not really trying to say anything coherent here, just listing ideas...
my guess is that the devil is dead, the skeleton is the same shape as the original with the same horns, but the angel devil has shorter horns while the demon devil has longer horns, one being white the other red, almost as if to say the devil wasn't pure evil but had a balance which rests within him, I don't know if he summoned cuphead or why if half of him doesn't want him dead unless your idea makes some sense which it does

I'm pro too and I failed many times. I think he did too. I really didn't expect the dlc to be this hard. I wish there where at least 2 easy bosses to have some fun playing. The only easy boss is the secret Devil boss.
at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.

Pro tip: Use Crackshot as a replacement for Chaser, Crackshot always hits the opponent and you will get a better version of Chaser, EX move is good too
The angle and devil boss is my favorite secret boss to play against. I wish the boss had more health so the fight could be longer or they could have made it to where you could fight the boss as much as you wanted.
You can actually rematch them by stamsing next to the middle tombstone and HOLDING NOT PRESSING L2 and R2 or LT RT if you’re on xbox, unfortunately it’s only on regular difficulty and there’s no grades at all
Here’s how to get all of them (that we know) DLC Howling Aces Secret - In phase 2: make all of the four things hp go down to 21 without killing any of them Devil and Angel - buy broken relic, talk to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place people in that order, go to the graveyard next to the ghosts and send all of the ghosts out. MAIN GAME Radish (root pack) - spare onion weepy by not attacking him. Puphead (djimmy) - after phase 3, turn into mini airplane until he turns phase 5, in this case phase 4. Sally Nun (Sally phase 2 ) kill the husband in phase 1 of the play (act 1, the chandlers, sit on them until the husband gets smashed.) Husband (sally phase 3) kill the husband in phase 1 of the play (act 1, the chandlers, sit on them until the husband gets smashed.) UNUSED - there is no legitimate way to get any of during the DLC release. You could go to the files and load pachi-pachi it in, but in DLC update, there is no way to access him unless if modded in. The Light this is literally impossible to access. It was brought back in the DLC during moonshine mob phase 2. This was also the very first EVER Cuphead design. Goopy Le Grandé Mini Slimes - this secret is and was never playable. there is no way to access him unless if it was modded in. this isn’t even in the files. legitimately no one can find a way to access it. If you see a video saying that “it is possible”, that’s a fake video.
Sucks they never finished Pachi Pachi but I can see why. He looks to be another King Dice mini boss that got cut from the original set so to finish him would add no replay to the game unlike the spider boss that got used in the DLC
Pachi has been an unused sense the game first came out, people on pc even had a mod that let them look at cut stuff that was left in the game and Pachi was one of them. So pachi is nothing new sadly. Tho it does suck they didn't finish him up cuz the whole fight is done pretty much, and they would just have to finish some textures add some hit/damage boxs and give him a death screen then bam a new boss fight.

I’ll just explain the entire relic story In the shop the broken relic costs 1 coin, very cheap. Take the relic and put it in your back pocket for now, it will be useful later. Go to the graveyard and click the top right, top left, and middle left. This will grant you access to the boss fight. After beating the boss, the relic’s eye will start to open. If you equip the relic, you will have 1HP and your attacks will be randomized every time you attack. If you beat all bosses this way, the relic will be finished. The eye will be fully open and it will be BROKEN. Normal HP, and you can scroll through all your attacks at your own will. Not only that, but you will be able have the ability of EVERY charm. There is also an Easter egg where if you walk up to the cactus in the desert you will get a quest to defeat every regular boss (non-DLC) with Ms. chalice. If you do this Ms.Chalice will become gold in colour.
guy forgot to mention the secret death quote of Dijimmi the great How to obtain it? Use all wishes for extra hp from Dijimmi by spinning around then go fight him. Reach the final phase then die. Doing that, the secret death quote is yours
someone should mod the main+DLC game to implement the Secret Devil Boss as the second phase of the devil boss, then use the unused animation to segue into the original 2nd phase.
Puzzle (READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO SOLVE: have relic, then talk to ghost then talk to the three guys you know that ranking thing and you need to know what direction for example one says left down, other up and other right middle then you need to do that puzzle from the 9 thumb stones, this is diffrent every time and once you done that correctly the middle thumb stone should have light from the sky, take a little nap and boom u got the secret boss)
I may be dumb, but how do you have 8 health at the start of the howling aces battle? I dont have the divine relic yet, is it something to do with that? But even then that wouldn't make sense because you need the cookie in charm slot. So how do you have 8 health? I'm mostly asking because it would make it easier to get the hearty achievement
Someone has probably said this but I think the reason pachi pachi went unused is because he looks like more of a king dice mini boss then a big boss, they could probably come up with something for phases with him but it seems more likely for that.
