Thank you for this video!! I have the V1 pro and I will be upgrading to this one tomorrow, love the power and I have heard that the TTL is Way better!! So here goes.. haha
If it were Fujifilm I'd be tempted to keep it, and have three for Fujifilm, one for my Panasonic cameras. (Ideally two for a two light set up, but a third can be a pop flash from behind a subject)
Forget Godox, the barber is doing a great job 😄 Anyway, why do you generally prefer rectangular flash heads? (I'm look to get into flash properly soon - tiny home studio - and that's one of the considerations) Thanks, Damian!
Love it! Except, I am my own barber... one day I'll make a mistake and it'll have to go. Anyway, I find rectangular flash heads easy to control the direction of the light, easy to flag with a black foamy sheet, to get all the light to only hit one area, and then bounce back onto the subject. If you're shooting through an umbrella or softbox it's less important. For a tiny home studio you might get away with one umbrella and one small softbox to get started and shoot flashes through them, or even bounce off the umbrella ... a lot to play with!

Well thats whetted my appetite , thank you
Any time!
Can you lock the mode with a long press like the older versions? I prefer to keep it on manual at all times
Another good offering from Godox- however how many flash units do most people need ?

I usually have at least 4 in my bag with me, usually using only two but the others can save your life if you need them.

Is the battery compatible with the Godox V1 and vice versa?
It's a different battery
do you take more than 400 pics @ 1/1 @power?
No
The flash is too easy to unlock its self. Rest the camera and flash on my lap and my will unlock it . A major pain
Thanks for sharing your experience!!
100Ws its nothing important!
The important is the Guide Number!
It's not listed.
Get a light meter it will show you the true power of 100 watts. My guess would be around 80
