How many of us at that young age, would've been as smart as this young lady was, to NOT sign that contract? If you remember TLC's episode of Behind The Music which aired in 1999, they got completely SCREWED and were broke until "Fanmail" was released under new contracts. I hope Crystal has done well in life. May God bless her.
She was still a member because the whole reason their name was TLC because it was Tionne, Lisa, and Crystal Lisa gave Chilli her name to keep it TLC
crystal is beautiful and so respectful and smart for not signing but how they portrayed her could have been better there nothing cool about spreading lie because there are people who wanted to know the truth because they weren't around that time and were interested in knowing
I really believe Crystal cannot sing....... they asked her three times to sing and she refused and her manager said she isn't as bad as they made her seem...... meaning she isn't that good either
I agree. TLC to this day still perform acapella. She obviously can't sing.

@Def Style she is weird cause in her book she mentioned her mom died but decline to say how she died. In this interview she said she can sing but declines to sing.
@@stacyr4768 People should not be giving Crystal a hard time. Music industry is not for everybody if you think this through Tboz, Left Eye and Crystal were very young at that time. Tboz and left eye didn't know anything about the music industry but Crystal did she was in the music industry before TLC now watching the interview I understood why she wanted to take home the contract and have her Mother look through it this is what Tboz and left eye didn't do they didn't read their contracts they were the victims of their own doings my shooting theirselves in the foot.

First of all this woman isnt even a "former member" in my opinion. She didnt go thru their triumph nor tradegy. So to me she isnt a TLC MEMBER!
Raeyonna Covington true it didn't work out cause Left eye & t boz didn't have chemistry with her like they did with chilli they were meant to be. 🤗🤗🤗

They were trying to move the movie along but Tbaz already said they went to her house and asked her to leave the group.
She was the original member of 2nd Nature, TLC was way after she got replaced. She didn't go through half of the shit TLC went through

I do believe pebbles screwed them because if she didn't why not let her take the contract home to her mother of she is telling the truth as one person mentioned already why would they sign you to a deal if u haven't auditioned yet. I think wat,was in the movie was true because u never know wat l.a. Or pebbles told tboz and left eye without crystal being there. I think she is bitter because she was kicked out of the group and replaced and i think pebbles is mad that she got called up left eye has an interview on heee whete she breaks down why they didn't have any money so i pretty sure that the truth was told in the movie. I also believe that crystal wants to be relevant that's why she is did this interview. It sucks being kicked out of a group you started but shit ol well move on it wasn't meant to be that wasn't your destiny. What's meant to be is going to be and it was meant for tlc to be exactly who they where. God had a plan for them and it didn't include crystal so she really needa to get over it. And as for pebbles the truth hurt don't it.

GoldenCat13 yes she is. Crystal Jones was the original "C" in TLC before Chilli when TLC was named 2nd Nature. In fact that's where the name TLC came from Tionne (T) Lisa (L) & Crystal (C).
