I found this tutorial so easy to follow. You made the procedure simple enough for anyone to follow. I liked the way you included hits to make problematic points easy to fix before that problem would exit. Thank you very much. 😊
Thank you so much for these videos. I taught myself to knit and purl 12 years ago and relied on RUclips to teach me the rest. Well, about 3 months after learning I had several strokes. Afterwards I constantly have to re-learn a lot. It is a struggle. Your voice is clear and soothing and for the first time knitting socks makes sense to me!! I will be subscribed and waiting for future videos. Again, I wish you a very heartfelt THANK YOU! ❤️ Love from Georgia, USA.
I just found your videos the other day and, boy, do I ever wish I would have seen these a year ago! Your style of teaching/showing is so awesome to follow. Wish we weren't on opposite ends of the country so that I could sign up for some of the classes you offer. Thank you so much for doing these sock tutorials. I am an 'old' new knitter (69 yrs old and just picked up needles for the first time a couple of years ago - who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks, eh?) and I rely heavily on good visual teaching. There are certain aspects of sock knitting that I continually struggled with and your videos have hit those areas beautifully. Now I actually look forward to knitting more socks! Thank you, thank you.
Hi, just made my third pair, try making them two at a time, so you don't suffer from 2nd sock syndrome, it's relatively easy there's tons of tutorials on RUclips on how to do two at a time socks
I don’t even know where to start on this comment. I realize that this was a year ago but I hope you’ll see this anyway. I’m 76 yrs old and I feel like I’ve spent many many many trying to find someone to help me knit a pair of socks. People very close to me that know how couldn’t be bothered. This has been a dream of mine, I’m a very visual person and I know if someone could of shared their knowledge I’d of probably knitted a hundred pairs by now 😂 I’m trying not be make this sooo long but finding your tutorial today and watching all the way through --if I could reach out and hug you I would and if I didn’t live so far away Florida I’d visit! From the bottom of my heart thank you so much( I have tears in my eyes) trying to finish typing this) you’ll never know how much you’ve helped me !👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰😍💕💕
Wow!! I found sockknitting always very intimidating so I never dared to start. But the way you teach this makes me confident! I am.a crocheter but I want to nail this as well!! Thank you! Curious what more you can teach us. Greetings from The Netherlands!
My knitting looks so messy compared to everybody else’s. I’m inclined to think that I need another hobby, but I’m bound and determined to make a sock so somewhere along the line I’m gonna try to learn to be neat. I don’t know how that’s going to be but I’m gonna try.
Oh my goodness, I have spent 2 years trying to knit socks using S1, K1 heel and a gusset. It never came out looking like a straight heel. The Kirchner stitch was a problem, so the end of the toe looked bad and was uncomfortable. Bless you for this awesome, fabulous set of videos on knitting socks the easy way. I love it. Can you say which pattern you used in the video. I will get it on Revelry. I want to knit a sock identical to yours. I will frame it and hang it in my knitting room, as my proof I have finally mastered sock knitting. I spend at least 4 days at the hospital with either my husband or daughter. Large projects in bigger knit bags aren’t allowed. Sock or hat knitting projects are so small they are welcomed and it sure passes the time and lessens my anxiety. A million thanks. I hope you have more videos.
That's beautiful, the reason I do toe up socks is to avoid this but this is a great way of doing it! How do you turn the sock inside out to to do it on the inside while you have stitches on your needle?
If you watch the first part of the video I show you how to poke the sock up through the middle to turn it inside out to do the finish. It leaves a nice closure!
Very good tuto. I like your needles and yarn. Tks a lot. 😊
Excellent tutorials. No more kitchener for me! LOL.

Do it! It's a lot of fun! Just think of your first pair of socks as practice socks so you can make all the mistakes you want!

I’m so glad you like it! It’s my own pattern that I teach in my classes at my shop. I should get it up on Ravelry. ☺️
Thank you, can I knit the same pattern on 9inch circular? Any written pattern?

I do my socks toe up. Will this work for the top of my sock?
Can it be done with two socks at a time
