I still have my grandfather's 1973 wellcraft airslot 165. It's a tri-hull boat that is excellent for ripping around my area. I restored it a few years ago, it was sitting in the woods for many years, but the internals were still in good shape
Modern outboards have some real advantages - first, no more pull cord starting. Roomier below decks. With three, two could be shut down for slow cruising (although the word "slow" is discouraged on this boat). Thanks for the tour...
Hmmm, couple of observations- The LED Lightbar will be so bright with a white foredeck that you wont be able to see a thing from the helm. In my experience the further forward (i.e. set into the bow) the more useful lights actually are. The offset cabin means that bending down on a moving boat to tie/clip fenders on the port side with a rail at ankle height is downright dangerous.
Needs a pull out bbq underneath cockpit window , and a microwave somewhere, could use extra refrigeration under the salon floor, lots of lost space there. Other than that a great boat for 2.
Great tour as always and this is a very nice boat. Accommodation-wise, very livable as well. Compared to many places I lived in the beginning of my adult life, this is a palace :)
Nice boat and for its size reasonably priced. As you say its not a long stay type of boat, but comfortable for four people for weekends. And a boat with a roof rack, you dont see many of them😄. P.S. On your relaxing trip down the River Dart, you pointed out the lovely paddle steamer. Some body commented the at 'The Waverly' was still about thankfully. A couple of days later there was a lovely photo of it tied up at Gravesend with the sun rising behind it in the Mail I think. Some article relating to the impending weather. I was lucky to have a lovely trip on it from Dublin up to Dundalk about thirty years ago. A lovely old ship.
Ciao Nick from 🇮🇹 Italy. Half a million.... Would be an awesome day or week-ender fishing boat for a couple.......50 knots, that's a very, very, very forza boat, indeed!!!!!
Thanks Nick for a nice tour. The boat has much to offer although I felt jammed against the starboard wall sitting in the helm seat. I also thought the forward view was a tiny bit constricted due to the sloping roof making the windshield a tad low. However, I am a big, tall guy so most people will find the helm very acceptable.
For a Beneteau production boat, she is fabulous and has done great detail and features. But, for c£500k, you have choice of a lot of other options that have more than one cabin (it’s expensive for a one cabin boat) and also more cockpit space for entertaining. The 435 has more space, but then you’re pushing the price up considerably. It’s a great boat, but in my view, priced too high for what you get. As usual, great tour Nick.
Great looking boat, obviously thought out for everyone not just day fishing. What sort of sea state would be the limit for that sort of craft. Obviously the north sea off Britain can be rough.
Nick, could you please answer me this question if you have a joystick and you can manoeuvre the boat in any way, why do you need bowl thrusters as well?
@@AQUAHOLIC thanks for that Nick love your videos just need the euromillons this Friday and you can find me a boat and and make a video on how to purchase a yacht 🤞
Lovely boat and nice accommodation. Were I to specify and they able to do it:; I would lose the single front seat and expand the cooking facility it such a nice design for week stay for couple people, but still able to accommodate for more in day.. (dare I say to heck with the fishing, just buy at market or use hand grenade 😁). Nicest boat for a while Nick, thanks.
I'm not impressed... and it seems Nick didn't even think it was worth a Wave, either. I can see it being a commuter, I can see it being an overnighter or even a long weekender... but the barest minimum of galley facilities would probably be too much of a stress for a full week, let alone a fortnight. You'd pretty much be having all your meals on shore. A generally nice boat, but limited capabilities, I think!
Better cooking facilities and this boat ticks all the boxes. I wonder if it would be possible to only run on the centre engine is you wanted to toddle along at displacement speeds on an economical journey
Hi Nick, And thank you for this very nice Wellcraft 355 a space wonder to see en what a light from all those windows in the salon a small galley but everything is there but a big double bed in the bow with a spaceious head even with separate shower and good looking sun bed on the bow Thanks again Nick a impresive show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Just read from Marianne herself (on her own youtube channel on her last video) that she and Nick are no longer together. So sad to hear about this guys I really am.😢😢😢😢😢😢
These little chaps look pleased to see us” classic Nick
Bloody hell. Over 50 knots. Very well thought out boat. Keep it up Nick.
Aside from wanting a little more refrigeration, that could do for me as a liveaboard. Thanks for another great tour Nick
Is the refrigerator operating only on shore power? Did not see a generator.
Those powerful outboards are brilliant for boats of this size, bringing outstanding performance and making so many interior design options possible!
and way more reliable
Very nice and a Great tour
Would love to give her a blast around the bay.
Cheers Nick and Marrianne
Great tour of an interesting boat. Your comment about the armrests….priceless 😅
Thanks Nick
That’s a nice looking boat, nice interior and a great sized heads. Great tour thank you Nick.

Nice commuter boat, backed up by three outboards make sure you get where you’re going.
Thanks for the tour Nick
More of these type of boats please 😊
I prefer more sophisticated yachts. These types of boats do not interest me.
Everybody has different taste. I like seeing reasonable price and all types of boats.
Great tour and boat, got all you need, really 👍
Eye wateringly expensive for 36' though...
Nice fast dayweekender with focus on speed and fishing, looks good 😀Thanks
A nice weekender. Thanks Nick

Hi , yes another boat for all seasons , thanks for the look round .
Our pleasure!

Hi Rich, I own one of these and ours came with the microwave. It’s located to the right of the sink where the cabinet is at the 2:50 mark. 😊
I can see this one appealing to a fair few people, it certainly did to me! Lovely boat thanks Nick.
My pleasure!
I could also image me and my partner spending weekends or weeks a float.
I just watched a video on the Riva 82 Diva. It is hard to get excited about other boats now. 😅 Thanks, Nick!
Very nice! While too small for what we need, it is a very nice boat with a lot of possibilities.
I would mind spending a day on this hone. Thank you nick.
Great tour as always and this is a very nice boat. Accommodation-wise, very livable as well. Compared to many places I lived in the beginning of my adult life, this is a palace :)
Cool boat and video and Looks like boats Are getting more and more practical
Perfect sized boat! Loved this one, thanks Nick!

Maybe one of the best designed boats I've ever seen
Many thanks Nick, great review, great boat. 👍
Brilliant tour of a surprisingly versatile boat. Very impressive!!
Really nice! And a luggage rack, too!
Ciao Nick from 🇮🇹 Italy. Half a million.... Would be an awesome day or week-ender fishing boat for a couple.......50 knots, that's a very, very, very forza boat, indeed!!!!!
Nick, great watch you're wearing, the DAN HENRY 1972 MAVERICK! It's a nice boat too! I had a Wellcraft years ago, very well made boats.
It sure is, well spotted!
Really tasty looking American boat, finally! Another model to add to the ménage à trois club as three seems to be as many as they'd like aboard.
Love the look of this boat with the racked back windows very nice boat .. if only I had £500.000 ..
Great boat and tour!!!!!!!!
Really nice boat nick, and a good price too 👍

Great video again Nick and an interesting boat
Glad you enjoyed it
Of course 1/2 million is a lot of money ,but this is a lot boat especially with those outboards another great video nick thank you
Lovely boat and another good video nick ⛵️🚤🛥👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️👏👏👏👏👏
That's quite nice, actually. I enjoy these types of boats.
The stresses on that transom where the engines are mounted has got to be astronomical. But they seem to have it all figured out.
Nice boat. What is under the saloon area? Should be something in that space!
Nice craft!
Great boat and video. 😊
Nice boat Nick good review.
Gorgeous mate

Awesome .... 18 cylinders for only £0.5m ... let's see her roar Nick!
How you do your calculations? Its 72l/h and thats petrol. Petrol is £1.55
... but it's NOT my money!@@Xlay16
@@Xlay16 3 x V6 outboard engines attached to a £500k boat. Their maths is fine.
@@garry17713 fuck, i understood 0.5£ per.minute
I guess notrut is a bilionare to say that 🤷
Nick, what's the grey & white boat at 6min 26 seconds ? (In the background...) looks great for a smaller boat. Cheers, 🇬🇧
Thanks for the tour Nick. Nice boat but the price seems a bit steep.
Ooh er missus - those little chaps look pleased to see us. If Kenneth Williams did boat reviews... 🤣
Is that an armrest on your boat, or is it just pleased to see me? 😆
Great looking boat, obviously thought out for everyone not just day fishing. What sort of sea state would be the limit for that sort of craft. Obviously the north sea off Britain can be rough.
When are we going to get a watch tour??
4:32 "I'll edit that out later"....yet you never do.😂
"They look pleased to see us", behave!!😂
Nice boat, do you think it gets to the Bahamas safely?
Seems like there ought to be a lot of space under the saloon, no? Thanks for the tour!
She carries 264 gallons/999 liters of fuel to feed those outboards, so I'd guess that's why there's no under-saloon bed.
The arm rest pleased to see me or do you have a banana in your pocket. Lol
Nick, could you please answer me this question if you have a joystick and you can manoeuvre the boat in any way, why do you need bowl thrusters as well?
The joystick manipulates the engines at the back of the boat. In strong winds it is useful to have some leverage on the bow.
@@AQUAHOLIC thanks for that Nick love your videos just need the euromillons this Friday and you can find me a boat and and make a video on how to purchase a yacht 🤞

What country produces these boats?
This yacht is perfect couples boat. The price is very reasonable for this little gem 🤩
Better cooking facilities and this boat ticks all the boxes. I wonder if it would be possible to only run on the centre engine is you wanted to toddle along at displacement speeds on an economical journey
Tşk ler
Dead space under the saloon floor?
Specific boat for a specific function. Wouldn't say great value for money.
Where is the Riva 82 Diva cmon??? 🎉🥳😘
@7:11 i'd rather have the extra cabin room than all round external access
now THIS is more like it!:)
You could buy a helicopter to commute in for that kind of money 😊

50 KNOTS?!?!
Of that £500,000, how much do you think is *just* for the engines?
Also, the single burner hobb is just PRECIOUS! SO CUTE!
In America, 3 Yamaha 300s will cost you around $100k
Nice
@ 50 knots I’d put helmets and goggles on everyone
That's a lot of boat for the price
Diesel outboards would be interesting.
How much 😳😳😳
There is a word that Nick regularly uses that I have never in my 64 years on this earth ever heard anyone else use, any guesses ?

I wouldn't pay half the price

I much prefer the smaller boats.
As you said nick not made for long term trips but still a very nice boat all the same
Me like that boat
Not bad
Makes the Riviera 395SUV look like a bargain.....
I would rather have the Marex 440
72l/h, and that is eco mode, god damn..
Looks like it's made of fairly cheap material. It's an ok boat.
Yikes - 1.5mpg at "just under 20 knots". Get it "flying" and it's probably 0.5mpg, drinking fuel as fast as you could pour it through a funnel. 😢
Love this boat for no "crew" "quarters"
72 litres an hour at 18 knots!! How many litres at 50 knots I wonder🤔
If you've paid 500k for the boat guess you wouldn't care😁
Lovely boat but gas and three petrol engines equal an i.e.d to me !!!
Even if i got this boat for free i eould not have the money to use it😂
Disappointing only sleeps 2.
Can’t believe this mediocre boat is so ridiculously expensive
too expensive for what it offer !!
First ❤
